The white vysan is a peculiar beast, ivory white and extremely bloated with gas to the point that it can float from place to place. Its appendages extend straight out from its rotund body, and its head resembles an overturned kettle. Blending in well with snowy backgrounds, it prefers cold, icy areas, moving slowly from location to location in search of food.

Hunting strategies

While the white vysan is not undead, it appears in an area which is heavy in undead. Make sure you don't use up blessings on your weapon, if you can help it, while fighting this creature. Also, use of wands such as a bloodwood wand or other wands/magical items which are not particularly useful against undead are suitable for this beast.

Vysans are immune to fire.

Other information

Vysans have the chance to flare cold upon a successful hit against a target. These flares may cause death even if the initial hit was minimal.
