Summary

 • Thadston comes to speak with everyone, having survived tackling Disean over a wall the night before, and asks Magister Raelee where the bane coffin is and to explain why it wasn't accessible. She says he never asked for it to be immediately accessible and she opted to store it securely, and asks if he captured Disean. Thadston says he thought he made it clear he needed it accessible and that he had Disean, but Brumas was waiting, having taken maps and plans of the Hendoran outpost while his soldiers attacked. Raelee says she was correct to keep it secure, then, but Thadston says if it had been available he could have locked Disean away and then perhaps handled Brumas.
 • Mayor Lylia asks how Brumas is even present as there are two of him--the one we know and the other lying in a waking nightmare--but Thadston doesn't follow. Thrassus and Xorus fill in that Jerram had been a mental image projected by the actual paragon trapped in a cocoon, but Thadston asks if that means it's the case for all of them. He says he doesn't have a plan yet, but if he did, it would require returning to Brumas' time pocket.
 • At the mention of the orcs that Brumas is after, Thadston says he needs the coffin from Raelee by tonight, as he's going to put Thrayzar in it. She says she doesn't work for him and won't be barked at because he failed to ask for it, so he asks for it--phrased as a question.
 • In the interim as Raelee answers, Leafiara and Ysharra respectively ask if Thadston will need another coffin for Disean and if Thrayzar's getting worse. Thadston says he had planned to lock away his son Disean and hopes for another chance, but for now is looking to put Thrayzar in the coffin because it's as if his original curse had escalated--and he assumes Raznel or someone did something to him.
 • Raelee says Thadston can bring Thrayzar to the outpost, but he says we can't have that when Brumas is wandering around wanting to murder orcs and has blueprints of the place. Raelee asks Lylia where the coffin can be placed and the crowd starts raising options, but Thadston says his location won't be publicly disclosed since he doesn't trust everyone present. Raelee asks if he'll disclose it to her, as she can offer it as long as she knows where it's going. Captain Shinann says that she and Captain Stormyrain will know ask asks if that's acceptable; Raelee says no since they've been recently compromised by Raznel's scarabs. Thadston says he'll share the location with her, so she says he can have the coffin.
 • Lylia reiterates the oddity of Brumas being in two locations; Thadston says maybe he's like an organ pulled out of the body but connected by veins. Xorus says that his physical body is either in the time pocket or, if it collapsed, then in the Bleaklands near Doggoroth Keep. Thadston agrees.
 • With the possibility of needing to return to the Bleaklands, Thadston asks Raelee if he can have the writings from Dennet Kestrel that he also "did not ask for," though she points out that he truly didn't ask, saying he'd meet with her but never did. She asks what he requires and he says anything related to Dennet's jaunts in the Bleaklands.
 • Thadston says Casiphia had a sent word to a contact Thadston once made in Eloth-Ra who had briefly helped once while hunting the witch. He has no idea if the contact is still there, but says maybe he can aid with some wisdom.
 • Thadston raises the question of whether the blight isn't the fire, but the smoke; as everyone focuses on stopping the blight, Raznel is doing something else. He advises to make sure everyone doesn't lose sight of the witch.

Highlights

Lazaryth quietly says, "I feel as though we're simply throwing ideas at a wall to see what sticks. That we've no idea how to proceed."
Lazaryth asks, "But it worked with the ramparts, so why not?"
Speaking dryly to Lazaryth, Cruxophim jests, "Welcome to the Landing."
Thadston says, "I am unsure, but I share this now in case I go jumping off another wall."
Speaking kindly to Thadston, Cruxophim suggests, "Don't let us stop you."
Speaking offhandedly to Cruxophim, Leafiara says, "Wouldn't dream of it. I thought it was a great strategy."
Speaking amusedly to Thadston, Cruxophim admits, "Kinda hard to top leaping off the Demonwall, however."
Speaking to Thadston, Soneiken says, "Wall jumping ain't the only danger, you double cross Raelee with that coffin deal and... her War-rats are most likely more dangerous than some conscripted milita."
Speaking interestedly to Raelee, Cruxophim ventures, "You have war-rats?"
Thrassus asks, "Is that where Spike came from?"
Speaking musingly to Raelee, Leafiara says, "Would explain a lot, to be honest."
Maags says, "Owlies is not a rat."
Xorus says, "I thought Spike came from Breganda."

Awaiting Thadston

[Town Square Central]

This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing. The impromptu shops of the bazaar are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith. At the north end, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded from the moonlight by a strong, robust tree. The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep. You also see an herbal remedy donation bin and some stone benches with some stuff on it.

The sky begins to fill with huge clouds, dark and grey on the bottom, pale and white atop, their puffy crowns ascending toward the heavens.

Evia says, "How they gonna know I love em if I just say hello."

Speaking deeply to Evia, Guarrin says, "It's a difficult problem."

Balley softly says, "Yeah rain."

Speaking heartily to Evia, Chamorr says, "Cookies, bring cookies."

Pukk recites quietly:

"Everybody join Cryheart!"

Cryheart says, "We going to get showered it seems."

Dhairn says, "Wait."

Cryheart says, "Moving to Moot Hall."

Speaking deeply to himself, Guarrin mutters, "I was just about to sleep."

Dhairn says, "Last time I joined Cryheart I got beat up and there were no healers."

Speaking to Guarrin, Stormyrain whispers aloud, "Not anymore."

Dhairn says, "This just seems like an all around bad idea."

Cryheart says, "Aye..joiners beware."

Cryheart says, "Moving."

Speaking to Dhairn, Leafiara offers, "Well, if it helps, we're out of ideas on where to find paragons for now."

[Town Square, East]

Here in the center of a broad plaza near the commercial area of the bazaar stands the impressive facade of the slate-roofed Moot Hall, where the citizens of Wehnimer's Landing hold various official, religious and social functions. Facing the square are some of the town's more prosperous shops, still doing business with the many customers who still frequent the streets at night. You also see the Ysharra disk, a large purple wooden barrel, a bone-framed bulletin board and a polished bleakstone statue.

Also here: Berost, Arena Heroine Leafiara, Grand Lord Gnaeusprimus, Lord Chamorr, Soneiken, Bernadette, Stilehe, Chaoswynd, Zosopage, Gypsy Scribe Balley, Lazaryth, Pukk, Lady Regwen, Drokth, Guarrin, Stormyrain, Dame Evia, Dhairn, Sir Cryheart, Lord Thrassus, Magister Raelee, Mayor Lylia, Melikor, Ysharra

Speaking softly to Dhairn, Balley says, "I am a healer and I have joined him."

Thunder rumbles lightly in the distance, flashes of lightning dotting the horizon.

Speaking deeply to Cryheart, Guarrin says, "You need a disclaimer. Join me. Bring herbs. Buy deeds."

Speaking to Balley, Dhairn says, "You are! And you pierced me so well, too."

Cruxophim: "Weather rollin' in."

Evia: "Rollin' rollin' rollin' keep them clouds a rollin'."

Dhairn says, "No no."

Dhairn says, "No more."

Cryheart says, "I think it should go...rolling, rolling, rolling - keep them roltons moving."

Dhairn exclaims, "Move 'em on! Head 'em up! Head 'em up! Move 'em on! Cry heaaaaart!"

Speaking to Xorus, Ysharra says, "I am looking forward to your lecture."

Dhairn asks, "Who's got the whip?"

Speaking to Xorus, Ysharra asks, "On Volnes, yes?"

Chamorr heartily says, "Yeeeeeehaw."

Razanetika softly says, "Leafi probably has one."

Kethrain: "Rawhide!"

Cryheart says, "Perhaps the mayor."

Cryheart nods at Dhairn.

Xorus says, "Yes. Nine as the elves and humans tell time."

Speaking amusedly to Razanetika, Leafiara says, "No, I don't own any of those."

Speaking to Xorus, Ysharra says, "At Silverwood Manor, indeed."

Speaking to Xorus, Dergoatean asks, "On what topic?"

Speaking to Xorus, Lylia says, "I am looking forward to it too."

Xorus says, "Bonespear Tower."

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Razanetika says, "Maybe you should."

The voice of Cruxophim affably notes, "Ahhh, lovely."

Speaking to Xorus, Dergoatean says, "I hope there will be a transcription. I'll make it if I can..."

Lylia whispers something to Xorus.

Xorus says, "There certainly will be."

Maags says, "Problies I could sit still for that too."

Pukk quietly says, "That sounded yummy."

Thadston: "Good to hear yer bloody thoughts."

Cryheart says, "I dinnae want to know what ye slurping on, Crux."

Kethrain: "Well thanks, I do my best."

Evia: "Good to hear yours also."

Speaking deeply to Stormyrain, Guarrin says, "Well, there's your answer."

Shinann: "Evening, Thadston."

Leafiara: "Ah, good to know you survived last night."

Cryheart: "Good evening Lord Thadston."

Lylia: "Very good indeed, given how we last saw you. I am glad to see you well."

Cryheart says, "Thadston on the net."

Speaking to Cryheart, Goldstr says, "Ye knows it be bloody."

Cruxophim: "Ah, you made it. And Disean?"

Zosopage: "Good evening, Lord Thadston."

Thadston: "I'll be along shortly to have words. Maybe Mayor's office? This damn rain I've had enough of."

Chamorr: "Howdy Thadston."

Lylia: "I shall put on some tea."

Cryheart says, "To the mayor's office."

Evia: "Sounds lovely, bring tea cakes please."

Speaking to Cryheart, Dhairn says, "Mmmm... absinthe."

Kethrain: "We now return you to our regualarly shedualed programming of "As the Landing is Invaded"."

[Moot Hall, Mayor Lylia's Office]

From a dais, the maoral desk and an ivory and velvet curule seat loom over two carved wooden chairs. Tapestry rugs cover the hardwood floor, their patterns complementing the arched windows flanking the desk. A stag's head stares at a panoramic fresco mounted opposite it. In a corner near the bar, a scarred witchwood perch rises to the high ceiling, while several feet away, a black iron stove rests against the west wall and is topped with a silver kettle. You also see a varnished modwir door, a maoral bookcase and a small maoral sideboard with some stuff on it.

Cryheart says, "Tea with honey."

Cryheart asks, "Perhaps minty?"

Berost deeply says, "Ale with a side o rum."

Xorus says, "Apparently he lived."

Maags says, "Mus has been a shallow hill."

Xorus asks, "The odds must have been, what? Three to one?"

Gutstorm says, "Bare the way!"

Dhairn pulls his ebon leather mask aside.

Dhairn takes a drink from his assassin's poison.

Warded off!

Dhairn says, "Oooo yeah."

Speaking to Melikor, Ysharra says, "Have to. It's the law."

Cryheart says, "The hills were alive with demons."

Xorus says, "Reminds me of my childhood."

Speaking to Ysharra, Melikor says, "Wouldn't want to break tradition."

Evia says, "The hills were alive...with the sounds of demons."

Dhairn asks, "Hm?"

Chamorr pours himself a cut crystal glass of Faendryl absinthe.

Dhairn asks, "Is that... suntea?"

Speaking softly to Gutstorm, Razanetika asks, "Yes?"

Cryheart says, "Ye can do it."

Speaking to Chamorr, Regwen says, "That's not scotch." (his favorite drink)

Lylia says, "No, I would get little use of sun tea, given when I more typically drink tea."

Dhairn says, "Well what is it? Ya kint go and shows it to me without lettin me taste. I don't care if it's paint thinner."

Maags says, "Ohh."

Speaking to Guarrin, Evia says, "Wakey wakey Thadston is bringing tea cakey."

Stormyrain can offer Evia only a blank expression.

Speaking to Dhairn, Lylia says, "It is a blend from home. But I do need to brew it. Which means waiting for the water to boil."

Speaking deeply to Evia, Guarrin mutters, "I was going to offer to share this coffee."

Stormyrain slowly says, "I have never known Thadston to bring any kind of cake."

Dhairn says, "Oooo."

Cryheart says, "Well..unless it was mud cake."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Lylia says, "Angercakes."

Stormyrain says, "Not even that."

Xorus asks, "Is that her pet name for him?"

Evia says, "And Vinegar cakes."

Stormyrain asks, "Whose? Cassiopia? Mayhaps. Who knows what pet names they have?"

Stormyrain says, "Cassyi--however you say that lass' name."

Evia says, "Makes me wonder, if Magister Raelee were a cake, what kind of cake might she be..."

Leafiara concludes, "Casiphia."

Lylia diplomatically says, "I would not dream of prying."

Stormyrain points at Leafiara.

Stormyrain says, "That one."

Leafiara muses, "Haven't seen her in months, it seems."

Speaking heartily to Evia, Chamorr says, "Stale."

Xorus whispers something to Lylia.

Lylia firmly says, "That is her business. And his."

Goldstr says, "Nae seen Cassy in some time."

Dhairn says, "If I die now, I blame you." (to Cryheart)

Speaking to Chamorr, Evia exclaims, "I got ya a cookie!"

Speaking heartily to Evia, Chamorr says, "Thanks."

Cruxophim curiously inquires, "We waiting on Thadston to pop in?"

Lylia says, "Yes."

Speaking softly to Gutstorm, Razanetika exclaims, "Cannot take you anywhere!"

Maags says, "Magister Raelee would be a seven layer cake with different frostings on each."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Evia says, "Stomp in.."

Gutstorm drunkenly says, "Are we anyway."

Thrassus says, "Hopefully he's patched himself up from that little tumble over the wall by now."

Gutstorm drunkenly asks, "Howsh da tea?"

Chamorr heartily says, "Wonder what happened to Disean."

Speaking affably to Xorus, Cruxophim inquires, "You're giving a lecture... evening after tomorrow?"

(OOC) Lylia's player whispers to the group, "By the way, the tea in the kettle is a custom tea blend. Feel free to GET KETTLE with a cup in hand to try it."

Speaking drunkenly to Cruxophim, Gutstorm says, "Youll get shlow down drunk."

(OOC) Cruxophim's player whispers to the group, "The bone teacup is not an appropriate container. WELL YEAH, GAME."

(OOC) Cruxophim's player whispers to the group, "NO DOY."

(OOC) Lylia's player whispers to the group, "My teacupst are broken too!"

Evia says, "Oh so delish."

Coffin Questions

Lord Thadston just limped through a varnished modwir door.

(OOC) Lylia's player whispers to the group, "So are my fingers, aparently, as I can't type."

Stormyrain places a hand over her heart.

Shinann bows to Thadston.

Stormyrain bows to Thadston.

(OOC) Lylia's player whispers to the group, "OMG, typos. I'm going to stop now."

Stormyrain greets, "Marshal."

Thadston twists slightly, cracking his spine. He looks much better.

Speaking to Thadston, Thrassus says, "I see you are in one peice."

Speaking to Thadston, Goldstr says, "Sir Andrews."

Thadston grins at Stormyrain.

Gutstorm drunkenly says, "Thadshton."

Thadston says, "Captains."

Speaking heartily to Thadston, Chamorr says, "Howdy."

Balley softly says, "Hello Thadston."

Speaking calmly to Thadston, Cruxophim greets, "Andrews."

Thadston glances at Raelee.

Speaking to Thadston, Evia asks, "Bring the tea cakes?"

Speaking to Thadston, Lylia says, "It is good to see you survived. I tried to stay and look for you, but when the skies melt, I find it prudent to leave."

Thadston nods at Lylia.

Maags exclaims, "Looks like yous landed on yous feet!"

Guarrin whispers something to Stormyrain.

Thadston says, "I'm glad no one did anything dumb like leaping over the wall and looking for me."

Speaking to Lylia, Soneiken says, "Apparently the Type of night yer going to have."

Speaking to Thadston, Regwen says, "Good to see ye, Lord Thadston it has been a while."

Lylia says, "That would have been ill-considered. You have been in darker places."

Speaking hesitantly to Thadston, Cruxophim begins, "Well..."

Speaking heartily to Thadston, Chamorr says, "How did ya fare wif disean."

Thadston nods at Regwen.

Thadston glances at Raelee.

Speaking carefully to Thadston, Cruxophim mutters, "Not looking for you, exactly..."

Speaking to Thadston, Soneiken asks, "Heard you like Cake, is that true?"

Raelee raises an eyebrow in Thadston's direction.

Thadston asks, "Where's that damn coffin Raelee?"

Thadston peers quizzically at Raelee.

Speaking to Thadston, Zosopage says, "We were going to throw Pukk over after you but didn't want to make a mess."

Thadston asks, "...and why wasn't it accessible?"

Felita says, "Hello Lord Andrews."

Dhairn says, "I figured out that Disean is rather... vulnerable... to Ronan." (referring to the Symbol of Sleep being a power granted by Ronan)

Speaking drunkenly to Felita, Gutstorm says, "You away moved me."

Thadston asks, "Care to explain THAT?"

Speaking evenly to Thadston, Raelee says, "Because you never asked for it to be immediately accessible. Instead, I opted to store it securely given the history of theft and tampering surrounding them."

Speaking pointedly to Thadston, Raelee says, "Of course, you have simply asked for it."

Speaking to Thadston, Raelee asks, "You captured Disean, then?"

Thadston says, "I thought I had made it clear I needed it accessible in the Outpost."

Thadston says, "No."

Thadston says, "Almost."

Speaking sternly to Thadston, Cruxophim ventures, "Where is he now?"

Lylia asks, "Do you know what became of him?"

Pukk quietly says, "So now we Raelee has a fetish for coffins."

Thadston says, "I had him. Brumas was waiting."

Thadston says, "Brumas took somethings from the Outpost, while his fake runts attacked."

Speaking to Thadston, Ysharra asks, "Fake runts, indeed?"

Goldstr asks, "Aye?"

Cryheart asks, "Ye know what he took?"

Thrassus says, "That sounds quite inconvenient indeed."

Speaking to Thadston, Raelee says, "Well, then it seems I was correct in keeping it secure."

Thadston says, "Some maps and plans of the Outpost. Some old, some new."

Felita says, "We needa get it back."

Balley softly says, "Disean is a slippery one I guess."

Speaking slowly to Thadston, Raelee says, "We would not want to lose it in a raid."

Thadston says, "Correct? No."

Thadston says, "Had it been available, I could have locked Disean away more easily."

Thadston says, "And perhaps handled Brumas."

Speaking quietly to Balley, Pukk says, "Disean is just misunderstood. He just wants to feed his pet maggots."

Thadston says, "But instead I failed at juggling them both."

Maags asks, "Yous had yous hands on him then?"

Speaking to Thadston, Soneiken asks, "Maps...of the outpost, er someplace else?"

Thadston says, "The Outpost."

Brumas Questions

Thrassus says, "One would think that seeing the inside of the Outpost would finally convince that idiot that there are no orcs or orc kings inside it."

Thadston nods at Soneiken.

Speaking softly to Pukk, Balley exclaims, "I just want to know why he did what he did to me!"

Speaking patiently to Thadston, Cruxophim reasons, "I'm with the Magister on this. It could have easily been taken, as well, then we'd be in an even worse predicament."

Speaking to Thrassus, Ysharra says, "I think he's much like the Earl from the same vision."

Thadston says, "Brumas is hardly seeing things as they truly are."

Soneiken says, "Didn't know was so big to need maps."

Bernadette softly says, "Me too."

Thadston says, "I was an ogre in his eyes."

Speaking quietly to Balley, Pukk says, "He thought you were cute evidently."

Thadston says, "...don't say it."

Speaking to Thrassus, Ysharra says, "His time in his false reality has been too much."

Lylia says, "How is Brumas even here? He has managed to do what few can do and make two of himself, albeit only one that is able to act independently as the other lies in a waking nightmare somewhere, presumably."

Ysharra says, "Maybe he's not a paragon."

Thadston asks, "Two Brumas?"

Speaking heartily to Thadston, Chamorr says, "I kin see that."

Pukk quietly says, "Maybe the second Brumas wasn't the second but actually somebody else."

Speaking to Ysharra, Lylia asks, "Perhaps, but...if that is the case, then what is he?"

Ysharra says, "If he's done something none of them can, then we have a different problem."

Thadston says, "I don't follow."

Cryheart asks, "Raznel?"

Thadston shrugs at Lylia.

Evia says, "Old Brumas, new Brumas...the old brumas sweep clean, they say."

Speaking curiously to Lylia, Cruxophim admits, "I don't either. Of course, I was waist-deep in demons at the time."

Lylia explains, "One 'Brumas' is near death, is he not, and infested with Raznel's chitinous friends."

Lazaryth quietly says, "We ought to study it, though. If the nature of the time pockets is different from how we understand them.."

Speaking to Thadston, Thrassus says, "One of the paragons was a mental image projected by the actual paragon hidden away within a cocoon of some sort."

Xorus says, "They may all be manifestations, with real bodies strung up in caves. Like the Sentinel."

Thadston asks, "Does it mean all are?"

Thadston peers quizzically at Thrassus.

Speaking wryly to Lazaryth, Cruxophim opines, "It's a bit of vagary."

Soneiken says, "Folks, we don't know entirely how the magic of Chronomages actually works, it is possible we brought the present to him, he may not of crossed any time barrier, we just failed to contain him."

Thrassus shrugs at Thadston.

Lylia says, "The other is the one we encountered in a vision, who was nevertheless able to slip through our own portal into such a vision and act upon this valence. Or plane, or reality."

Gutstorm asks, "Which way to the wext navern?"

Speaking to Lylia, Dergoatean says, "Perhaps 'sphere' or 'dimension'."

Lylia says, "He is...an anomaly."

Ysharra asks, "And you say that his army is...fake, as well?"

Speaking to Dergoatean, Lylia says, "Yes, those might suffice too."

Ysharra asks, "Despite the fact they were carving us up and hammering us flat?"

Balley softly says, "Something seems off that is for sure."

Thadston says, "They kept appearing out of no where."

Ysharra asks, "Have any of the paragons done that?"

Evia says, "They did."

Ysharra asks, "Outside of their false reality?"

Berost deeply says, "None that we have seen have tried."

Thadston says, "I'm too smart for this magic valence time pocket voodoo stuff."

Speaking quietly to Thadston, Pukk asks, "So are you saying they were figments of our overactive imagination?"

Soneiken says, "All the others perished."

Speaking to Thadston, Ysharra says, "Of course you are."

Thadston says, "But if I had a plan, and I don't yet..."

Evia says, "I remember Brumas, he seemed confused, on the verge of knowing his plight, but then he sort of shimmered away in a light of some sort."

Thadston says, "It would require returning to Brumas' time pocket."

Gnaeusprimus says, "Well we have 3 down and 4 to go? We are doing well so far." (other way around; four down and three to go)

Thrassus says, "It makes sense if the paragons have the ability to alter reality around themselves to a very limited degree."

Speaking calmly to Thadston, Cruxophim ventures, "And how do you propose we do that? Lure him in with candy and maps?"

Thadston says, "We also have no idea what occured to him since he "crossed" over to here."

Ysharra says, "He wants orcs."

Stormyrain asks, "He's a dwarf. Fine weapons and gold would work better than candy, no?"

Ysharra says, "Let's find him some."

Thrayzar Questions

Thadston says, "Well, speaking of orcs."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Evia says, "No, orcs and Orc Kings."

Speaking rhetorically to Thadston, Cruxophim wonders, "What does he want? Orcs?"

Thadston says, "I need that coffin. By tonight."

Thadston nods at Raelee.

Speaking to Ysharra, Leafiara says, "We'll open up a warcamp for him."

Lylia says, "An orc scalp."

Chaoswynd suggests, "Perhaps the manifestations of his army are a safeguard, put in place to protect the various paragons. Much like all of the other resistance we've encountered along the way. Perhaps they're keyed to each of the paragons themselves, and are capable of following them wherever they happen to be."

Thadston says, "I'm going to put Thrayzar inside of it."

Rasson asks, "Isn't it 4 down?"

Speaking slowly to Thadston, Raelee says, "Thadston, may I remind you of something."

Ysharra says, "...or Thrayzar could be- ah."

Speaking amusedly to Lylia, Cruxophim offers, "Easy enough."

Speaking to Guarrin, Stormyrain says, "It would on every dwarf I've been friends with."

Evia says, "Why."

Stormyrain asks, "Wait, what?"

Speaking to Thadston, Soneiken says, "We don't know entirely how the magic of Chronomages actually works, it is possible we brought the present to him, he may not've crossed any time barrier, we just failed to contain him."

Thadston glances at Raelee.

Cryheart says, "That would be quite the surprise."

Speaking perplexedly to Thadston, Leafiara asks, "But then you need -another- one for Disean?" (he'll come back to this later)

Speaking to Thadston, Ysharra asks, "Because he's getting worse, isn't he?" (he'll come back to this later too)

Speaking slowly to Thadston, Raelee says, "I do *not* work for you. I brought that coffin here to you as a favor. And I will not be barked at, and cursed at because you failed to ask for it."

Speaking to Thadston, Raelee says, "That outpost is littered with people who could have helped if you had only asked. To not blame me because you wanted to do it all yourself."

Pukk quietly says, "Oooh imps arguing..."

Thadston glances at Raelee.

Thadston slowly empties his lungs.

Speaking to Thadston, Ysharra says, "Thrayzar's curse is becoming more intense."

Gutstorm drunkenly says, "Smell delicious."

Guarrin whispers something to Ysharra.

Cruxophim helpfully requests, "Anyone have some ice for that burn?"

Thadston stubbornly asks, "Very well. Magister, may I please acquire the coffin this night?"

Speaking quietly to Leafiara, Pukk says, "This just got interesting now."

Lylia murmurs, "Once more, with feeling."

Speaking heavily to Pukk, Leafiara says, "...nah."

Speaking to Lazaryth, Ysharra says, "Here's a hint. Cruxophim doesn't stick to the wall. For long."

Thadston peers quizzically at Raelee.

Maags says, "He said please even."

Gutstorm drunkenly says, "I like that fan, itsh pretty cool."

Thadston says, "To answer the other questions..."

Speaking to Thadston, Raelee says, "You can bring Thrayzar to the Outpost."

Thadston says, "Yes. My original plan was to lock away my son if captured. I lost that chance. I hope for another."

Thadston says, "But for now, I'm looking to put Thrayzar inside of it."

Thadston says, "Something happened, and he's..."

Thadston says, "It's as if his original curse has been escalated."

Thadston says, "And he is far, far more orc than man."

Evia says, "Dang."

Thadston says, "And getting worse."

Evia says, "How..."

Chamorr heartily says, "Sheesh."

Speaking to Thadston, Goldstr says, "Aye he seemed to get more orcish da other eve."

Lazaryth murmurs, "Never rains but it pours."

Chamorr heartily says, "He wasnt all that good lookin to start wif."

Thadston says, "I'd blame the witch."

Razanetika softly says, "Sounds reasonable enough."

Balley softly asks, "You think he may be a tainted or a paragon? Or aiding them?"

Thadston says, "She did something. Or someone did something."

Thadston says, "We cannot have Thrayzar in the outpost."

Thadston nods at Raelee.

Lylia says, "I am sorry to hear that. He has already given a great deal of himself. To give over to the basest form of his curse...it is a pity."

Speaking to Thadston, Raelee says, "I do hope you are prepared to accompany that with a reason."

Thadston says, "There's a mad paragon-world crossing dwarf wildman wanting to murder orcs."

Dhairn whispers to the group, "Something isn't sitting well with me."

Cruxophim whispers to the group, "Lunch?"

Thadston says, "...and he has blueprints for the Outpost."

Speaking drunkenly to Razanetika, Gutstorm says, "Dankoo youre very what today."

Chaoswynd whispers to the group, "Stop drinking questionable alcohol."

Thadston says, "So, respectfully Magister, no."

Guarrin deeply asks, "Where then?"

Speaking quietly to Lylia, Raelee asks, "Where can we put this?"

Dhairn whispers to the group, "It's not questionable! It's certainly alcohol."

Lylia says, "It would endanger him, and with him, others in the outpost."

Speaking absently to Raelee, Cruxophim ventures, "Museum basement?"

Speaking absently to Raelee, Cruxophim continues, "Brass tower?"

Evia says, "Maybe."

Thadston says, "Magister, again with due respect."

Thrassus asks, "How about the caverns under the Landing?"

Cruxophim wryly reasons, "I mean, he's one orc-man... what's the worst he could do alone?"

Razanetika softly asks, "Are we still concerned there be spies amongst us for Raznel?"

Thadston says, "While the coffin is your property, Thrayzar is not."

Dhairn says, "Do you really want it inside town? I mean... putting all the citizens in danger in case someone.. comes... for it."

Thadston says, "His location is not going to be publicly disclosed."

Speaking to Thrassus, Lylia says, "The Rooks' tunnels and by-ways."

Speaking to Thadston, Raelee asks, "Are you going to disclose it to me?"

Thadston says, "Because truthfully, I don't trust everyone here."

Razanetika softly says, "If so, then discussing WHERE to keep Thrayzar is irrelavent."

Speaking to Thadston, Leafiara suggests, "Maybe you should just ask Breshon, in that case."

Thadston nods at Shinann. (presumably a whisper exchange)

Shinann nods.

Speaking drunkenly to Thadston, Gutstorm says, "You can trust me, I got your back."

Speaking heartily to Thadston, Chamorr says, "Just hide him then."

Evia says, "Maybe up somewhere really high and hard to get to the top of."

Thadston asks, "So. Coffin tonight ....please?"

Thadston peers quizzically at Raelee.

Speaking sardonically to Thadston, Cruxophim remarks, "Secrecy is a vanity we can ill-afford around here."

Dergoatean says, "He did say please."

Ysharra says, "I wouldn't think that the Reach would be a good place for him. It seems prone to undoing as much as it charges."

Chamorr heartily says, "Helga's kitchen."

Pukk quietly says, "He did use the please word...that means you have to."

Speaking to Thadston, Raelee says, "So long as I know where it is going."

Speaking to Chamorr, Regwen says, "Nobody goes near the stew."

Speaking to Ysharra, Thrassus asks, "That blue child is cocooned there, is he not?"

Cruxophim whispers something to Raelee.

Zosopage whispers to the group, "Why is she so adamant to know where it is going? It's a coffin for Pete's sake."

Ysharra says, "I don't know what he is now, but yes, Rodnay is there."

Evia whispers to the group, "It's the property of the Hall of Mages I think."

Speaking to Ysharra, Thrassus says, "I thought I remembered seeing something similar when we saw what Jerram was in."

Speaking to Raelee, Shinann asks, "Both Stormyrain and I will know. Is that acceptable?"

(OOC) Razanetika's player whispers to the group, "I'm rather concerned why she's so adamant in knowing its location as well."

Lylia whispers to the group, "It is not just a coffin. It is a rare and precious artifact, and a powerful one."

Raelee says, "Absolutely not."

Dhairn whispers to the group, "Like I said... this isn't sitting well with me."

Pukk whispers to the group, "She really likes coffins."

Speaking to Thrassus, Ysharra says, "I thought about that, too."

Speaking to Raelee, Shinann asks, "Why?"

Thrassus says, "Odd that they looked so much alike."

Cruxophim whispers to the group, "It's not just any coffin. It's one of the stasis coffins of the Hall of Mages, very advanced stuff."

Cruxophim whispers to the group, "If they needed any old coffin, I could get them one by sundown."

Dhairn whispers to the group, "We watched dopplegangers before this. Are we sure this is Thadston?"

Raelee says, "You have both been compromised by Raznel's scarabs recently."

Zosopage whispers to the group, "Yes it is but why would she need to know where it is? Doesn't make sense to me."

Maags whispers to the group, "If it was jus a wooden box then anybodies could provide it. It is special."

Lylia says, "It still sits ill with me that the Dwarf can be both here and not-here."

Thadston says, "Yes, I will share the location with you.."

Gutstorm whispers to the group, "Why are we whispering? Do we not trust Thadston?"

Thadston nods at Raelee.

Dergoatean whispers to the group, "This is consistent with how Thadston has behaved for some time, at least."

Speaking to Thadston, Raelee says, "Then you may have it."

Speaking to Lylia, Ysharra says, "You'd almost think we aren't getting told the whole story."

Cruxophim whispers to the group, "She wants to keep tabs on it, obviously."

Lylia mildly says, "Yes, one might think so."

More Brumas Questions

Thadston asks, "What if he is here, and here?"

Thadston peers quizzically at Lylia.

Dhairn says, "I'm certainly not convinced."

Regwen whispers to the group, "We never get the full story."

Speaking to Lylia, Neopuron asks, "Just one?"

Pukk quietly says, "Oh you get to have it...it's now yours."

Ysharra whispers to the group, "Wouldn't you want to, in her position? It's something that could potentially trap anyone in this room."

Ysharra whispers to the group, "And neutralize them for how long?"

Thadston says, "What if he's like some organ. Pulled outside of the body, but still connected by a web of veins. We just need to put the damn dwarf back inside the body...and kill him."

Lylia says, "Here or there, the little man must be put down. But to see him walking about, waging war, when he is simultaneously in a state of infested near-death..."

Thadston says, "See. I'm no good at your magic voodoo."

Leafiara amicably says, "...works for me."

Pukk whispers to the group, "I have trouble trying to get to the graveyard...anything might trap me."

Speaking to Thadston, Evia says, "Please don't get Crux excited with that kind of talk."

Razanetika whispers to the group, "Well understanding its importance and effects, makes more sense as to why she's pressing so hard to know where it's going."

Goldstr says, "Wish we had dat coffin fer Mayor Walkar back den."

Speaking to Thadston, Lylia says, "It is rather like seeing a person disappear up his own --"

Speaking slowly to Thadston, Cruxophim ventures, "So you're saying he can only be killed inside the Paragon hole?"

Xorus says, "His physical body would either be in that time pocket, or if that collapsed, probably somewhere in the Bleaklands near Doggoroth Keep."

Thadston points at Xorus.

Speaking to Lylia, Dergoatean asks, "Own...?"

Thadston says, "So we may need to find him in the Bleaklands."

Lylia concludes, "Nostrils. We shall leave it at that."

Xorus says, "Yes. That is quite likely."

Lylia says, "Or like trying to swallow his own head."

Evia says, "Bleh."

Zosopage whispers to the group, "I've never really trusted the Hall of Mages, that's why the whispering by the way."

Lylia says, "This was my thought too."

Speaking to Lylia, Ysharra says, "Dwarves aren't that nimble."

Thrassus says, "It'd be rather difficult navigating that wasteland to say the least."

Speaking to Berost, Ysharra asks, "Right?"

Chamorr heartily says, "I did that once."

Leafiara concludes, "So he's like those eels on Caligos, got it." (referring to Lylia's comparison)

Cruxophim whispers to the group, "I've never really trusted anyone. Don't tell that Zozo fellow."

Pukk whispers to the group, "Noooo....not trusting the Hall of Mages....you don't say!"

Thadston says, "Perhaps some remnants of Doggoroth Keep remain."

Lylia says, "In this case, he would need to have his physical body ended before this manifestation could be completely stopped."

Chaoswynd whispers to the group, "And that bone bag Crux fellow, either. He's shady, that one."

Dhairn whispers to the group, "I have full faith in Raelee's dicisions. I just get something off from Thadston."

Thadston asks, "Perhaps I could get some of those old writings of Dennet I "did not ask for" as well?"

Thadston peers quizzically at Raelee.

Lazaryth mumbles, "None of it makes any sense, if you ask me. We'd do a better job trying to explain why autumn follows summer."

Leafiara whispers something to Dhairn.

Speaking pointedly to Thadston, Raelee says, "To be fair, you did not ask."

Speaking quietly to Lazaryth, Pukk asks, "Why does autumn follow summer?"

Speaking to Lazaryth, Ysharra says, "And this year, it hasn't."

Evia says, "I don't seem to have much knowledge of Doggoroth Keep in the first place."

Thadston says, "I know I did."

Regwen whispers to the group, "This sounds like an outing to Doggoroth soon."

Speaking to Thadston, Raelee says, "You have delayed for months saying you would come meet with me about them, and you never did."

Speaking to Ysharra, Lazaryth asks, "What do you mean, it hasn't?"

Speaking to Lazaryth, Ysharra says, "Autumn is a time of harvest and storing."

Speaking to Lazaryth, Ysharra says, "There's none of that. We've moved straight into winter."

Chamorr heartily says, "Quit arguin and let's get this movin."

Gnaeusprimus asks, "Can't we just use some kind of magic to transport to Raznel and ambush her?"

Speaking to Thadston, Raelee asks, "Which ones, precisely, did you require?"

Lazaryth says, "I see what you mean. But surely the weather hasn't changed as well."

Ysharra says, "We are destroying her paragons with that thought in mind."

Lylia says, "That would be possible only if we knew where she was."

Speaking to Gnaeusprimus, Thrassus says, "She is immortal."

Gnaeusprimus says, "Oh."

Thadston says, "All of them. Anything related to his little jaunts in the Bleaklands."

Gnaeusprimus says, "That makes more sense now."

Ysharra says, "So we can find her and kill her while she has only a fraction of the power she has now."

Speaking heartily to Leafiara, Chamorr says, "Like a coupla peacocks."

Speaking to Thrassus, Sofal says, "FOR NOW."

Ysharra says, "...at least, so it's been explained to us, anyway."

Sofal says, "Sorry did not mean it that loud."

Ysharra says, "By someone I'm not sure I still trust."

Speaking to Gnaeusprimus, Lylia says, "Yes. Each strand of the web must be severed before tackling the spider who sits in the middle."

Dhairn says, "I stand with Sharra on this."

(Raelee gives Thadston a long, considering look.) (this'll have to pass for an answer, as there's no further fullowup)

Erithian Questions

Thadston says, "And..."

Speaking calmly to Gnaeusprimus, Cruxophim explains, "The Paragons are like her.. phylacteries, to a lich."

Speaking to Lylia, Zosopage says, "Or each leg must be pulled off first....."

Thadston says, "I am unsure, but I share this now in case I go jumping off another wall."

Speaking to Lylia, Evia says, "And all the while not get tangled up in it and et up."

Speaking to Zosopage, Lylia says, "A pity. I rather like spiders."

Speaking kindly to Thadston, Cruxophim suggests, "Don't let us stop you."

Speaking drunkenly to Thadston, Gutstorm says, "You need wingsh, the next time you try to fly."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Goldstr asks, "Dis related to yer visions?"

Speaking offhandedly to Cruxophim, Leafiara says, "Wouldn't dream of it. I thought it was a great strategy."

Speaking amusedly to Thadston, Cruxophim admits, "Kinda hard to top leaping off the Demonwall, however."

Speaking to Lylia, Zosopage says, "Perhaps but not this spider."

Speaking in Faendryl to Thadston, Lylia says something you don't understand.

Speaking to Goldstr, Stormyrain asks, "What part of this?"

Speaking to Thadston, Soneiken says, "Wall jumping ain't the only danger, you double cross Raelee with that coffin deal and... her War-rats are most likely more dangerous than some conscripted milita."

Speaking dubiously to Soneiken, Leafiara asks, "Her war rats?"

Speaking to Soneiken, Thrassus asks, "War rats?"

Speaking curiously to Soneiken, Cruxophim ventures, "War-rats?"

Speaking to Stormyrain, Goldstr says, "Bleaklands stuff."

Speaking to Goldstr, Stormyrain says, "We believe that stopping Raznel will help us avoid the future we've been shown, but--there's no way to know with certainty."

Xorus says, "I thought Spike came from Breganda."

Lylia suggests, "We could let the man speak, instead of going off on a tangent about rats."

Speaking quietly to Thrassus, Pukk says, "I was wondering the same thing."

Evia says, "Golly, keep on one subject."

Speaking softly to Stormyrain, Balley says, "You think she is the one responsible for the vision I saw of everything in ruin? Where you told me to kill everyone even...."

Cruxophim whispers to the group, "Not sure he has much else to offer." (said because Thadston had gone silent for a while)

Leafiara reasonably says, "He is taking a while to gather his words, though, but..." (likewise)

Evia says, "Or else just point me at my objective.."

Cruxophim whispers to the group, "Perhaps he fell on his head."

Dhairn says, "You'd like that."

Thadston says, "I've sent word to a contact I once made."

Speaking to Balley, Stormyrain says, "No, I don't think she sent the visions."

Thadston says, "Well, Casi did truthfully, but, regardless."

Thadston says, "In Eloth-Ra."

Thrassus says, "That's a distant contact."

Speaking to Balley, Zosopage says, "The visions seem to be a way to thwart her, not aid her."

Ysharra asks, "Who?"

Thadston says, "If the contact is even there. I have no way of knowing."

Cruxophim dubiously mouths, "Erithians?"

Thadston says, "He helped us once, briefly, while hunting the witch."

Maags says, "Sounds like it."

Thadston says, "I can't begin to try to figure out the blight."

Thadston says, "But my main focus is my son's condition."

Speaking bemusedly to Lylia, Cruxophim suggests, "We need a better library."

Thadston says, "And..."

Thadston winces.

Thadston says, "My son's condition."

Thadston nods.

(OOC) Regwen's player whispers to the group, "I must take my leave, good night folks."

Regwen curtsies gracefully to Thadston.

Thadston says, "Perhaps those who once helped against the Rot can aid some wisdom, for whatever it is worth."

Lylia says, "You and I have both sought to build a better library."

Lylia nods at Cruxophim.

Speaking tiredly to Thadston, Cruxophim admits, "Working on it. Unravelling someone else's mysteries is an uphill battle, I'm afraid, even with extant knowledge. So many complexities can go into such."

Evia says, "....and. That a looney dwarf is running around with maps and outpost diagrams."

(OOC) Regwen's player whispers to the group, "Hugs all around, night night."

(OOC) Cruxophim's player whispers to the group, "Night!"

Speaking to Thadston, Leafiara agrees, "Most anything's worth a shot, sure."

Razanetika softly says, "Winter is almost upon us and we have come no further in understanding how to handle the blight and feed the people of this town..."

Lylia pointedly says, "We should speak to the Town Council about it."

Thadston bows to Regwen.

Thrassus asks, "What's this erithian's name?"

Speaking dryly to Thadston, Cruxophim admits, "I managed to cure a rat, but not sure much else will come of it."

Pukk quietly says, "I still say we sacrifice that statue and the blight will go away."

Leafiara mumbles, "What is it with rats tonight?"

Thadston says, "You'll know if anything comes of it."

Speaking carefully to Thadston, Cruxophim confesses, "It did explode shortly thereafter, so I'm not sure I'd call that a win."

Ysharra says, "I tried to speak with the blight. But I accomplished little save..."

Ysharra says, "An impression I'd already suspected."

Lylia says, "I favor destroying the statue too. I prefer one in alabaster and despanal. Taller, too."

Speaking quietly to Cruxophim, Pukk asks, "After it exploded...you ate it...didn't you?"

Thadston says, "We'll look into that."

Thadston nods at Lylia.

Speaking to Lylia, Dhairn asks, "And in my likeness?"

Speaking evenly to Pukk, Cruxophim teases, "I can neither confirm nor deny that."

Pukk quietly says, "Uh huh."

Speaking amusedly to Lylia, Cruxophim requests, "Can I have the bits for study?"

Speaking to Thadston, Lylia says, "Now, that is the kind of thing the Town Council should focus upon."

Speaking to Thadston, Lylia says, "Humor aside, there is another matter I should bring up with you..."

Evia says, "Oh for the days when a hunk of rock was just a hunk of rock."

Speaking to Lylia, Ysharra says, "Despanal has those flecks of copper in it. Much better suited for you."

Speaking to Evia, Dergoatean says, "Like back when we had an urnon golem running around."

Lazaryth murmurs, "Actually, I'd propose that when all this is over, the statue be replaced with a momument to those townsfolk affected."

Lylia offhandedly says, "There was an attempt on my life recently. Unsuccessful, of course. The man was a farmer, not a soldier, and certainly no Palestra."

Lazaryth says, "But I'm a stranger here, so.."

Pukk quietly says, "We should just put a giant mirror outside of Moot Hall...that way when the mayor looks into it...she will be happy."

Speaking dubiously to Lylia, Cruxophim ventures, "A farmer tried to kill you?"

Gutstorm drunkenly says, "On mayor sherving it da."

Speaking curiously to Lazaryth, Leafiara says, "Most in this room are very familiar with you..."

Speaking to Pukk, Lylia says, "I rather like that."

Speaking to Lylia, Ysharra says, "I heard he took his own life."

Speaking wryly to Lylia, Cruxophim muses, "Must be a tradition."

Cruxophim removes a small blood red parchment that reads, "Mayor Cruxophim. Death by Rone. Fashanos. 5118." from in his shadow cloak.

Cruxophim snickers at a small blood red parchment that reads, "Mayor Cruxophim. Death by Rone. Fashanos. 5118.".

Speaking to Lylia, Maags says, "Hopes yous has some extra protections posted here then."

Pukk quietly says, "The world is ending...she liked my idea."

Speaking to Lazaryth, Ysharra asks, "You could have claimed that a few months ago, but you've fought and died with us how many times?"

Speaking to Lylia, Rasson says, "Should not underestimate farmers."

Thrassus says, "Especially when they attack by surprise with a crossbow."

Speaking to Ysharra, Lylia says, "As I told his family, he faced a foe he could not hope to best. I meant, of course, his own fears and the blight itself."

Speaking to Lazaryth, Ysharra says, "And a few arson attempts aside, you've gone to great risk to help your fellow Landing residents."

Speaking teasingly to Lazaryth, Cruxophim prods, "You're no stranger."

Speaking to Lylia, Ysharra says, "I am glad he did not hurt you."

Speaking to Rasson, Lylia says, "I do not. But they are not typically killers."

Speaking quietly to Lazaryth, Pukk says, "Yeah you're no stranger....who ever you are."

Speaking heartily to Cruxophim, Chamorr says, "Maybe they dont get any stranger."

Cruxophim whimsically admits, "I mean, we're all a little strange, but..."

Speaking to Ysharra, Lazaryth whispers aloud, "I told you that was Maylan."

Lylia simply says, "He did. Fortunately, I was surrounded with those whom I knew would protect me."

Speaking to Lylia, Ysharra says, "And I am sorry he was so corrupted by anger."

Thadston says, "It is only natural for citizens to lash out."

Speaking amusedly to Lylia, Cruxophim laments, "Shame I missed it."

Thadston whispers something to Raelee.

Xorus says, "He blew his own head off with a crossbow. The back of it, at least."

Speaking drunkenly to Cruxophim, Gutstorm says, "You dont shmell as nice ash Leafi doesh."

Raelee stares at Thadston.

Speaking lightly to Gutstorm, Leafiara says, "He has his own charms though."

Speaking to Xorus, Ysharra asks, "Did he take his boot off, first? How do you fire a crossbow at your head?"

Shinann asks, "They are hungry and afraid and sick.. and who knows what else the witch has done to them?"

Lylia replies, "It is. Desperation and hunger. I could see his pain plainly enough."

Thadston winces.

Dhairn asks, "Crux can't bathe, or he'll disintegrate. And then how would he wear his vest?"

Speaking quietly to Ysharra, Pukk says, "Great...now I have that image in my head."

Lylia says, "Just the same, I felt you and the captains should know. I am, of course, capable of defending myself."

Speaking to Pukk, Ysharra says, "I can offer others."

Speaking teasingly to Dhairn, Cruxophim grouses, "Not in holy water, at least."

Thadston shrugs at Shinann. (presumably a whisper exchange)

Lylia says, "But I prefer not to have to do so against the people of my own town."

Shinann nods slowly.

Lylia says, "It could go horribly wrong."

Thadston says, "We will help to manage any..dissent."

Chamorr heartily says, "Kill them all."

Lylia says, "Managed dissent. Just so."

Evia asks, "I need a something to do though..what is my job!?"

Raznel Questions

Thadston says, "I need to rest."

Thadston asks, "Any questions before I retire for the night?"

Speaking quietly to Thadston, Pukk says, "Yes, these are trying times."

Speaking to Thadston, Soneiken asks, "Perhaps, someone should seek out the Maaghara, she is queen of Blight and knows all things blight, we could get some answers, if someone here knows her language?" (referring to the Blighted Forest in the Elven Nation)

Thadston says, "Anything is worth considering."

Thadston nods at Soneiken.

Speaking to Thadston, Ysharra says, "I'll keep bringing apples north to go in the orchard. It seems to be special."

Speaking to Ysharra, Lylia asks, "I presume the blight was silent when you tried to reach it, as you had mentioned?"

Speaking quietly to Soneiken, Pukk says, "Xorus knows everything."

Speaking to Thadston, Soneiken says, "So far we are clueless to the Blight and it worsens."

Speaking to Lylia, Ysharra says, "All I can say is...I had an impression."

Cruxophim whispers something to Ysharra.

Speaking to Lylia, Ysharra says, "That it isn't just a simple poison. Something felt organic."

Thadston says, "We are not clueless, we are just...not certain."

Speaking quietly to Ysharra, Pukk says, "I can do impressions too sometimes."

Speaking to Thadston, Lylia says, "No questions, no, but give my best to the Lady Casiphia when you see her."

In a botched imitation, Pukk quietly says, "Like this."

Speaking confidently to Ysharra, Cruxophim muses, "It's not, aye."

In a botched imitation, Pukk quietly says, "Like this."

Pukk snaps his fingers.

Pukk quietly says, "Or not like that."

Thadston nods at Raelee. (presumably a whisper exchange)

Pukk quietly says, "I did say sometimes."

Thadston says, "While the blight is horrible..."

Speaking amusedly to Soneiken, Cruxophim opines, "That's not a bad idea."

Thadston says, "And no one enjoys...well...no good person enjoys watching our people starve."

Ysharra says, "I was recently returned from a trip, I should try again when I'm not so weary."

Thadston asks, "Have you ever considered, the blight is not a fire?"

Thadston asks, "But smoke?"

Speaking to Thadston, Soneiken says, "Well, the blighted forest, yes its south, but the Maaghara creates and rules the blight, we should sent an envoy to seek her out, plus she has a ...contraption at the top of her tree, and I sure like to know what it does."

Speaking calmly to Thadston, Cruxophim assures, "Oh yes."

Speaking quietly to Thadston, Pukk exclaims, "Yes....the statue is the fire!!"

Speaking quietly to Leafiara, Pukk says, "Sometimes people just don't hear me."

Thadston says, "The people suffer, focus only on the blight...on trying to survive...and we stand around, doing all we can and know and research and ask a thousand questions...focusing on how to stop the blight."

Speaking amusedly to Soneiken, Cruxophim suggests, "Could be an interesting expedition."

Lazaryth says, "It would be, wouldn't it? Smoke. As I've said, I'm quite new here, but I've never known a town to be so abandoned by the gods."

Thadston says, "Meanwhile, the witch is doing whatever she is doing."

Dhairn says, "Hold that thought. When the citizens are safe, we can put out the fire. But you don't start a brigade when there are children still in the house."

Xorus says, "Indeed."

Speaking to Thadston, Neopuron says, "Almost seems like clockwork."

Speaking dryly to Thadston, Cruxophim deadpans, "Has anyone considered killing the witch?"

Maags says, "I spose we hope to stop her before it gets worse."

Ysharra says, "The blight is here. The hunger is here."

Thadston smirks at Cruxophim.L

Leafiara slowly says, "Indeed, same as ever... in the end, what we need to do is end Raznel."

Ysharra says, "The death is -here-."

Thadston says, "We race against the blight."

Ysharra says, "Of course it's what we focus on. It's what we can do."

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Razanetika asks, "Do you see that happening before the winter is over?"

Speaking quietly to Cruxophim, Pukk says, "Maybe we can get Nehor to talk to her for a bit...that should do it."

Speaking musingly to Razanetika, Leafiara says, "Well, at the rate we've been ending paragons I'd normally say yes, but it'll depend on Chrysamber repairing her compass..."

Dhairn says, "Or we could relocate those affected."

Soneiken says, "If we slow the blight down, then we have more time to deal with Raznel, beside the bight is her doing, she strengthens as it spreds."

Speaking to Dhairn, Maags says, "That is the entire town tho."

Speaking speculatively to Razanetika, Leafiara adds, "Or finding some alternate way into these time pockets..."

Lylia muses, "We focus on the smoke because more people die of smoke than of fire, when a village is set ablaze."

Thadston says, "I am not saying we abandon ideas to stop or slow the blight."

Thadston says, "I am just saying we need to make sure we don't lose sight of the witch."

Speaking softly to Leafiara, Razanetika says, "I thought that was the sole purpose of the Hall of Mages being here though.... to try to end the blight... perhaps I misunderstood."

Speaking surreptitiously to Thadston, Cruxophim assures, "We will not."

Lylia firmly says, "Never."

Pukk quietly says, "And a lot of people die from demonic babies...but people still keep having babies."

Speaking to Thadston, Leafiara assures, "Don't worry... haven't lost sight of that particular vengeance for three and a half years."

Speaking deeply to Evia, Guarrin asks, "Isn't that what we were doing last night?"

Thadston nods to Leafiara.

Speaking to Razanetika, Raelee says, "That is largely correct."

Thadston agrees with Leafiara.

Lylia says, "I could not lose sight of her, for she has clearly never lost sight of us."

Leafiara nods firmly at Thadston.

Dhairn says, "The town out of danger is paramount. Whether that comes from stopping the fire, clearing the smoke, or removing the populace, I don't care. After that, we have all the time we need to do this right, and lose less militia."

Maags says, "That is the sole focus of some."

Goldstr says, "Da Witch brought us da Blight! We nae fergittin dat."

Thadston says, "Goodnight everyone."

Speaking softly to Raelee, Razanetika asks, "And have they made any progress?"

Speaking heartily to Razanetika, Chamorr says, "The purpose of the Hall of Mages is to make sure it doesn't spread to the Empire."

Speaking to Razanetika, Raelee says, "Yes."

Speaking to Razanetika, Lylia says, "The Hall of Mages is working toward that, yes. We are not the Hall of Mages."

Lord Thadston just limped through a varnished modwir door.
