River's Rest OOC Meeting (summary)
- Hosted by GM Xynwen on November 30, 2022
- I continue to serve as RR guru and will ensure you are getting representation, etc. In addition, I'm going to make sure you get more roleplay interactions. I don't do the big storylines like some other GMs are great at, but I will encourage others to do so, and I'll make sure you get the smaller interactions for sure. Including invasions.
- Hunting areas is a hot topic. I have a request in for one for RR, but creature coding is a very small pool of expert coders, so it will be far enough down the road that I can't even estimate anything for you. But I want you to know it is on my list and being actively pursued.
- December Mini-Storyline: It is coming and will bring a couple new shops. Stay tuned.
- Global Storyline, 2023: It is coming, it is global, and RR will play a part!
- A few possible bugs were mentioned, so I'll check into those (fire phantoms and hiding, hisskra shaman and sancting ad infinitum, and alchemist not selling driftwood amulets to some races)
- Food/Drink updates: Food/drinks are in QC for Stone Eye, Top of the Eye, and the coffee shop. This will bring the foods to modern standards, and they will have taste messaging. Should mean they are basketifier-eligible too
- Random Requests/Ideas: Make the flinger self-flingable, make the carousel more vicious, try to give Fluffy a prosthetic ear, get a plaque for the first gnome in RR, make the locksmith pool more RR-y and seedier
- Shop updates: A request was made to update Abdul's inventory, and I'll peruse other shops too, to see if a refresh can liven things up
- Documentation ideas (aka stories/gaps in lore): story behind the zoo, story behind the runes on the Citadel battlements
- Festivals: Some sort of RR-themed festival again, like the pickle festival, or a Shakat-themed festival, or anything with Aeia/Niima
I (heart) you guys a lot, and I appreciate everyone who showed up!
