Estrion Il'Fanlas

Estrion Il'Fanlas moved in to the burnt out husk of Darkstone Castle and declared himself its lord. Estrion became an ardent follower of Sheru, the lord of terror, and harnessed that reverence by working with his companion Siarl Arinimus to open a portal through the Veil so that Sheru himself could manifest on Elanthia. However, Estrion and Siarl required more energy than Sheru expected and during the experimentations and attempts, the magical flows of essence on Elanthia were disrupted, creating a mana storm which still affects Darkstone Castle.
When Sheru withdrew after being weakened, Estrion attacked Wehnimer's Landing in 5093 or so to create enough death and spirits to offset all he had drained from the area. He was killed by the residents of Wehnimer's Landing in 5094 and his companion, Siarl, disappeared and has never been heard from since.
Estrion's spirit has made appearances since.
- In 5110 (2010), Estrion was the binding spirit that Akhash used to build the wards around Wehnimer's Landing during Beyond the Arkati. Estrion's spirit stated he'd have a price to pay later for the assistance. He has yet to collect.
