THRAK!

[A Large Tent, Stage]
Erected from rough oak planks on low struts, the rickety platform is surrounded on three sides by colorful curtains suspended on poles and bears all the signs of having been hastily assembled. Several rolton pelts are scattered on the floor around a large yellow-painted box, and a large steel bucket sits in the wings. A line of small chairs has been neatly arranged along the open side of the makeshift stage, granting the audience a perfect view of the scene. You also see the Ylandra disk, the blue Stormblaze disk, the Furrowfoot disk, the Katiesa disk, the Denizani disk, the Telyav disk, the Dagwyn disk, a wooden signpost and a pony-shaped wooden crate.

"Welcome everyone, and thank you for coming today to our play entitled, "THRAK!" The children have worked very hard preparing this for you, so I do hope you'll all be respectful and give them your undivided attention."

Cryheart smiles at Surofee.

Speaking to Sethwyn, Ylandra whispers aloud, "They're starting. There's the headmistress."

From nearby, you hear Pruella yell, "Is it time yet?"

Rozy yells, "Almosts!"

Surofee recites:

"Before we begin, I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone why we are here today. This is a grand celebration of the tenth annual Frontier Days festival! We are honored to be a part of the festivities and wish to extend special thanks to all who have played a part in helping to make this anniversary one that will be remembered for years to come."

From nearby, you hear Jilsy yell, "We cant hear you!"

From nearby, you hear Amisia yell, "Are you ready... with my cookieth?!"

Rozy yells, "Shoulda cleaneded those ears like her tolded you toos!"

From nearby, you hear Pagalia yell, "Gimme that! It's MY eyepatch!"

Surofee recites:

"And finally, if you have... rodents following you around, it would be appreciated if you could stow them away so that the children aren't tempted to bring any of them back to the orphanage... I'll give you just a moment to gather those up. Thank you in advance."

Clunk yells, "Stop yellin stuff, then ye can hear!"

From nearby, you hear Jilsy yell, "Open the curtains!"

From nearby, you hear Daisyanne yell, "We're not yelling, you're yelling!"

Surofee yells, "Ssshhh! Just a moment, children!"

Alastir says, "The children seem very excited."

Aydan glances at a multicolored curtain.

Surofee clears her throat.

Dagwyn agrees with Alastir.

Nyatherra agrees with Alastir.

Rozy looks thoughtfully at Surofee.

From nearby, you hear Jilsy yell, "Don't forget to clap!"

Surofee recites:

"And now, without further ado, we bring you..."

Speaking to Surofee, Rozy says, "Is first time am heardified you yell."

Rozy lets out a cheer!

Alisaire folds her arms over her chest.
Jastalyn offers Nyatherra a paper bag of fresh buttery popcorn.

A sales clerk gives Jastalyn a peanut and caramel-coated apple on a bright purple stick.

The sound of squeaky wheels heralds the arrival of Chef Flinnery pulling a rickety cart laden with turnips. Two orphans perched on top of the cart glance at the assembly and nervously jostle each other as they jump off the back of the cart to stand in position at the front of the stage. With a grunt, Chef Flinnery lurches the cart forward, sending a rotten turnip rolling off the back. He trundles behind the curtain as the offending vegetable tumbles across the stage and out of sight under one of the chairs.

Lilhia tries to feed a piece of popcorn to her doll.
Clunk glances around briefly before applauding.
Jilsy grips her stuffed toad a little tighter.
Vailwyn plucks a piece of popcorn from her bag and pops it into her mouth.

Pruella preens and gives herself a quick once-over, then strikes a pose that is perhaps supposed to be impressive.
Jilsy sets about preparing Pruella to be as presentable as possible.
Jilsy turns around.
Pruella stands straight and tall.
Pruella sings brightly:

"We've come from the turnip farm
And journeyed to this town.
To seek our fame and fortune ..."

Rozy appears to be trying hard not to grin.
Jilsy loudly interrupts, "I want to wear a crown!"

Nyatherra glances at Jilsy.
Cryheart appears to be trying hard not to grin.
Sareyna grins at Jilsy.
Pruella sings brightly:

"We're going to be heroes!
Miss Surofee told us so.
We'll slay the creatures lurking near
And other evil foes!"

Shannivar bites her lip.
Lilhia nods slowly.
Pruella sings playfully:

"Turnips may be good and tasty
And make a decent meal.
But we'd rather eat a rolton stew ..."

Denizani chortles softly at some secret joke.
Nyatherra giggles.

Jilsy loudly interrupts, "I'd rather sit and heal!"

Logeerkamer smiles.
Jastalyn giggles.
Tykeara chuckles.
Jilsy nods.
Dagwyn idly flicks her glimmering wings for a few moments and sleekly rests them against her back.
Sareyna grins at Jilsy.
Pruella giggles at Jilsy.
Sethwyn chuckles.

Pruella sings earnestly:

"We're going to be heroes!
Miss Surofee told us so.
We'll slay the creatures lurking near
And other evil foes!"

Cryheart grins.
Pruella sings confidently:

"But first we'll need a weapon,
A shield and dagger, sharp
To kill and skin the beasts we hunt ..."

Rozy beams happily at Pruella!

Jilsy asks, "Can i just play a harp?"
Jilsy grins.
Pruella grins at Jilsy.
Phever softly giggles.
Rozy bursts out in a sudden snort of laughter.

Pruella sings earnestly:

"We're going to be heroes!
Miss Surofee told us so.
We'll slay the creatures lurking near
And other evil foes!"

Jastalyn grins.
Pruella raises her fist defiantly.

Pruella sings powerfully:

"We're brave and bold Adventurers
With courage in our hearts.
Let's show the Lords and Ladies ..."

Jilsy loudly interrogates, "Hey! What happened to our cart?"

Pruella giggles.

Dagonis beams happily at Jilsy!
Shannivar starts chortling.
Jilsy giggles.
Trisilador chuckles.
Aydan appears to be trying hard not to grin.
Aydan plucks a piece of popcorn from his bag and pops it into his mouth.
Jastalyn giggles.

Pruella sings earnestly:

Lilhia pops her thumb in her mouth and hugs her doll tight, eyes wide watching her friends.

Cryheart grins.

Jilsy loudly exclaims, "So! What shall we do first!"

From the stage right, a trumpet blasts a long, single tone, announcing the arrival of Lord Baron Pudding von Lickinfingers III of the Bourth Lickinfingers and Lady Princess Penelope Primrose Pendlewagon the Pink.

Lilhia applauds.
Jilsy giggles at Lilhia.
Rozy exclaims, "Smusherfies roltons!"
Denizani laughs!
Jastalyn giggles.

Pruella excitedly exclaims, "Let's go and kill something!"

Loralaii looks over at Nyatherra and shakes her head.
Shinann grins.
Cryheart appears to be trying hard not to grin.

Pruella stamps her feet.

Nyatherra snaps her fingers at Loralaii.

Rosilee tugs Daisyanne around the stage, the clomp-clomp sound of her oversized slippers echoing through the room.

Ylandra grins.
Rozy says, "Dassa loooooong name."
Vailwyn grins.
Logeerkamer giggles.
Shannivar clasps her hand over her mouth.
Nyatherra agrees with Rozy.

Pruella yells, "I need broadsword!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Daisyanne nods curtly.
Vailwyn giggles.
Nyatherra giggles.

Jilsy turns to Pruella and cheers!

Aydan quietly murmurs, "Accurate names."
Phever chuckles.
Sethwyn laughs!
Dagonis chuckles.
Katiesa grins at Pruella.

Pruella selects a toy wooden sword from a steel bucket.

Rosilee takes an oversized metal crown bedecked with multicolored crystals off her head.

Rosilee turns to the crowd and, grinning broadly, makes an exaggerated show of extending her arm and dropping her metal crown.

Rosilee drops an oversized metal crown bedecked with multicolored crystals.

Rozy looks over at Jilsy and shakes her head.
Sareyna gasps.
Shinann appears to be trying hard not to grin.

Jilsy exclaims, "I FOUND IT IT"S MINE!"

Daisyanne glances between Jilsy and Pruella, twirling her overly large moustache.

Speaking angrily to Jilsy, Daisyanne exclaims, "Don t you know who we are?!"

Pruella snorts derisively at Daisyanne!
Jilsy stamps her feet at Rosilee!
Jilsy sticks out her tongue and lets loose with a loud, "Thbtbtbtbt" from her lips!

Featherstripe grins at Clunk.
Sareyna waves to Daisyanne.

Pruella strikes a heroic pose.
Daisyanne exhales slowly, her moustache flapping slightly out of place.

Cryheart grins.
Vailwyn snickers.
Tykeara grins at Daisyanne.
Logeerkamer grins at Jilsy.

Pruella boldly exclaims, "I'm going to kill you and become a hero!"

Speaking proudly to Pruella, Daisyanne explains, "My name is Baron Pudding von Lickinfingers III of the Bourth Lickinfingers and this is Miss Lady Princess Penelope Primrose Pendlewagon the Pink."

Rosilee glares at Jilsy.

Jilsy struts about.
Jilsy strikes a heroic pose.

Ylandra begins chortling at Pruella.

Daisyanne bows dramatically towards Rosilee, her hat falling over her eyes before she returns upright.

Jilsy says, "I am the hero."
Jilsy nods at Rosilee.

Pruella points her wooden sword at Daisyanne.
Rosilee gives a sidelong glance at Daisyanne.

Shinann grins.
Denizani snickers.

Pruella frowns at Jilsy.
Rosilee giggles to herself.
Pruella says, "I am the hero."
Pruella sighs.
Jilsy says, "And pruella1."

Daisyanne tilts her hat properly upon her head, tugs at her moustache, then dives towards the barrel.
Jilsy tries to pull Pruella towards her.
Pruella nods at Jilsy.

Nyatherra giggles.
Rozy says, "Heros not wear crowns until AAAFTER hero stuffs."
Lilhia snickers at Daisyanne.
Nyatherra agrees with Rozy.
Jastalyn grins.

Pruella swings her wooden sword through the air as if fighting an invisible opponent.

Featherstripe giggles.

Daisyanne selects a toy wooden sword from a steel bucket.

Vailwyn grins.
Furrowfoot glances at Rozy.

Jilsy sticks her tongue out at Rosilee, and lets out with a loud, "Thbtbtbtbt" from her lips!

Furrowfoot reaches out and touches his red dreamstone crown.

With lots of gentle-natured swinging and shoving, Pruella and Daisyanne begin to parry blows with their wooden swords. The clatter of wood-on-wood gets progressively louder as the duel gets a bit out of hand.

Pruella points her wooden sword at Daisyanne.

Speaking to Furrowfoot, Rozy exclaims, "Is trues!"
Lilhia gazes fondly at Furrowfoot.

Surofee coughs loudly and clears her throat, glancing sternly at Pruella and Daisyanne.

Sareyna gasps.

Daisyanne roars at Pruella!

Furrowfoot grins at Lilhia.

Pruella says, "Sorry Miss Surofee."

Sareyna exclaims, "The drama!"

Pruella shifts her weight.

Rozy glances between Furrowfoot and a toy wooden sword.

Aydan surreptitiously glances at Surofee.

Daisyanne apologetically says, "Sorry, Miss Surofee."

A soft glissando of tinkling bells fills the tent as Amisia appears and flits across the stage, tiny gold and silver-painted spheres following in her wake.

Surofee smiles at Daisyanne.

Jilsy proudly says, "Sorry."

Amisia prances around on the stage, circling around each of the characters while shrugging her shoulders to make her wings flap.

Jilsy giggles.

Dagonis whispers aloud, "I like this little one with gumption who took the crown."

Rosilee pushes on Jilsy without much success.

Amisia sings thunderously:

"I'm buthy, I'm buthy
I've loth of thingth to do
I help young turnip farmerth
Perhapth I'll help you, too!"

Jilsy beams happily at Dagonis!

Katiesa grins at Amisia.
Dagwyn grins at Dagonis.

Jilsy strikes a heroic pose.

Sethwyn winks at Jilsy.

Amisia skips in a circle around Rosilee.

Jastalyn just nudged Dagonis.
Ylandra agrees with Femereff.
Cryheart grins.
Phever laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement.

Amisia sings boisterously:

I fly around all day
With hinth and tipth for everyone
On what to do and thay!"

Rosilee sniffs.

Rosilee's lower lip trembles slightly.

Lilhia applauds Amisia.

Pruella swings her wooden sword through the air as if fighting an invisible opponent.

Furrowfoot rubs his red dreamstone crown.

Jilsy rolls her eyes at Rosilee.

Amisia skips in a circle around Jilsy.

Jilsy giggles at Amisia.

Pruella raises her wooden sword above her head triumphantly!

Amisia sings horribly off-key:

"I'm buthy, I'm buthy
I'd like to be your friend..."

Rosilee surreptitiously glances at Jilsy.
Amisia coughs.

Jastalyn grins.
Rozy removes a delicate star ruby crown from in her grey sack.

Amisia clears her throat.

Rozy offers Rosilee a delicate star ruby crown.

Amisia stops suddenly before Pruella and stares with her jaw agape.

Rosilee's eyes well with tears as her lower lip quivers.

Amisia loudly demands, "Why are you holding a thword in town!"

Pruella strikes a heroic pose.

Cryheart says, "Awww."

Lilhia frowns at Rosilee.

Rosilee declines Rozy's offer.

Pruella exclaims, "Because I am a hero!"

Rozy exclaims, "Drats, too lates!"

Amisia shakes her head at Pruella and clucks her tongue.

Rozy put a delicate star ruby crown in her grey sack.

Speaking to Rozy, Rosilee whispers aloud, "Not the right crown!"

Jilsy mutters crybaby.

Amisia turns to face Jilsy.

Rozy nods understandingly at Rosilee.

Amisia cheerfully proclaims, "Thath a pretty crown!"

Vailwyn says, "Awww."

Speaking proudly to Amisia, Jilsy exclaims, "Thanks! I found it!"

Jilsy beams, her eyes filled with delight!

Rosilee glances between Jilsy and Amisia.

Daisyanne coughs loudly in the direction of Jilsy.

Rosilee really hams it up for the crowd, wailing and sniffling louder than a herd of roltons!

Jilsy sticks her tongue out at Rosilee, and lets out with a loud, "Thbtbtbtbt" from her lips!

Amisia skips over to Rosilee merrily.

Cryheart grins at Daisyanne.

Vailwyn furrows her brow.

Jilsy dances around the room to music only she can hear.

Vailwyn taps something in a pony-shaped wooden crate.

Amisia suddenly inquires, "Whath the matter, pretty Lady?"

Lilhia's eyes begin to well staring at Rosilee.

Speaking loudly to Amisia, Rosilee cries, "That horrible person stole my crown!"

Pruella glances at Jilsy.
Lilhia blinks.
Rosilee points a trembling finger at Jilsy.
Daisyanne grips her wooden sword tightly, twirling her now frizzy moustache towards Jilsy.
Jilsy says, "I am a hero not a horrible."
Lilhia rubs her eyes.
Jilsy sticks her tongue out at Rosilee, and lets out with a loud, "Thbtbtbtbt" from her lips!
Amisia glances warily at Jilsy.

Pruella rolls her eyes at Rosilee.

Amisia glances between Pruella and Jilsy.

Furrowfoot gasps.

Dagonis nods at Jilsy.

Jilsy beams happily at Amisia!

Speaking to Jilsy, Rosilee exclaims, "You're the most horriblest of horribles that ever horribled!"
Jilsy reaches out and touches her metal crown.
Rosilee wails!
Pruella gasps.
Jilsy pushes on Rosilee without much success.

Dagwyn giggles at Rosilee.
Speaking to Furrowfoot, Rozy whispers aloud, "Crown wearerers are horribles?"

Jilsy repeats, "Crybaby."

Amisia takes center stage and instead of adressing the heroes, she addresses the crowd.

Amisia announces, "I think you two need to have a chat with Thrak!"

Pruella giggles at Jilsy.

Furrowfoot looks over at Rozy and shakes his head.

Vailwyn adopts an agreeable expression.
Daisyanne nods sagely.
Pruella snorts!
Pruella says, "We don't have time for that, we're off to kill something."

Rozy turns to Amisia and cheers!

Rosilee whispers something to Daisyanne.
Sareyna asks, "Heroible maybe?"

Pruella raises her wooden sword above her head triumphantly!
Daisyanne giggles at Rosilee.
Rosilee giggles.
Pruella furrows her brow as she stands in front of the crossroads signpost. After a moment of puzzled looks, she grins wide and points to the sign that reads, 'CAvE'.
Pruella exclaims, "Get a sword Jilsy!"
Rosilee clears her throat.

Jilsy nods.
Jilsy nods.
Daisyanne whispers something to Rosilee.
Rosilee gazes into the distance, weeping quiet tears of longing.

Pruella excitedly exclaims, "To the cave!"
Pruella tries to pull Jilsy towards her.

Jilsy repeats, "To the Cave!"
Orphan Pruella just went out.

Brandishing their wooden swords aloft, Pruella and Jilsy run around each other, whooping and hollering. With lots of pushing, the children all make their way to the curtain at the back of the stage.

Orphan Pruella just arrived.

Jilsy lets out a cheer!

Speaking quickly to Daisyanne, Rosilee whispers aloud, "Shhhh I'm supposed to be crying, member?"

Jastalyn grins.
Shinann grins.

Furrowfoot shows Jilsy his wooden sword.
Daisyanne blinks at Rosilee.

Amisia shrugs and no one in particular.
Orphan Amisia just skipped merrily through a multicolored curtain.

Two little girls dressed in matching blue pinafores appear and march across the stage. They pause to hold up a large paper banner between them that reads, 'EnD OF AcT OnE,' before disappearing behind the curtain.

Ylandra applauds.
Vailwyn applauds.

Daisyanne casually glances around the room.

Jastalyn applauds.
Dagwyn applauds.
Jastalyn lets out a cheer!

Daisyanne bows to Rosilee and extends her arm for her to take.
Orphan Rosilee just went through a multicolored curtain.

Lilhia applauds.

Furrowfoot applauds.

Jilsy falls over.

Trisilador applauds encouragingly.
Phever claps her hands together in delight!
Cryheart says, "Good show so far ladies."

Orphan Jilsy just crawled through a multicolored curtain.

Ylandra grins.

Pruella says, "Cmon jilsy..."

Dagonis exclaims, "This is fantastic!"

Orphan Pruella just went through a multicolored curtain.

Ylandra agrees with Dagonis.
Sethwyn nods at Dagonis.
Sareyna applauds.
Denizani agrees with Dagonis.
Sareyna applauds with enthusiasm, seemingly oblivious to her surroundings.
Lolie squirms and fidgets oddly for a moment.

Denizani says, "Love the little fake mustache."
Dagwyn points her wooden sword at Dagonis.
Denizani starts chortling.

A childish voice attempts to imitate a beastly roar. Giggling and snickering echoes from behind the curtain.

Another roar is heard coming from behind the curtain and Lolie appears on stage carrying a carrion worm puppet. Muttering and mumbling to herself, she unravels the strings of her marionette and moves to the front of the stage.

Dagwyn pokes Dagonis in the ribs.
Vailwyn grins.
Rozy turns to Lolie and cheers!

A sharp pull on some strings causes Lolie's carrion worm puppet to wiggle up and down.

Lolie sings nervously:

"I'm a worm that likes to sleep,
And my name is Wiggly Woo!"

Speaking to Dagwyn, Dagonis says, "Ow! Stop that."

Sareyna exclaims, "A worm!"

Lolie wiggles her nose.

Vailwyn snickers.
Cryheart chuckles.
Sareyna cowers.
Lilhia glances around the room.
Lolie giggles to herself.
Nyatherra picks idly at a small tin of powdered purple leaves.
Kirryk put a toy wooden sword in her tapestry weave pack.

Lolie sings nervously:

"I'm a worm that likes to creep,
And all that I can do ..."

Jastalyn giggles.
Cryheart grins at Lolie.
Lolie wiggles her nose.

Speaking apologetically to Dagonis, Dagwyn says, "Sorry, na'erta."
