Tug of War

One of the official games of the Kindred Games, Tug of War can be practiced before the official games begin.

During the official game, there are both individual and team events.

A ring of iron basket torches illuminate two large semi-circular patches of bare ground that bracket a pit in the center of the field. Discarded bits of rope, in various states of decay, lie scattered on the ground. Nearby benches provide a viewing area for spectators and a red and blue sign is prominently placed at the edge of a field. You also see a thick 50-foot rope, a 10-foot wide pit and some pine benches a short distance away (open).
