'''Mana Disruption''' is the most universal [[Sorcerer Base]] [[warding]] attack spell. It inflicts damage by causing the mana in and around its subject to be violently disturbed. As a result, not all of its effects are visible. Of the two [[damage cycle]]s inflicted, one is obvious and lists the precise amount of [[hitpoint]] loss. The line of text appearing immediately before it displays the amount of damage in the form of one of fourteen phrases. Use the [[702#Hidden Damage Table|table below]] to determine roughly how much hitpoint damage your strike inflicted. 

The severity of the strike depends heavily on the warding [[endroll]]. In addition, targets that are [[stunned]] or similarly incapacitated are more susceptible to damage. Likewise, using the [[CHANNEL (verb)|CHANNEL]] command can potentially increase the overall damage. If channeling, more offensive [[stance]]s as well as having one or both hands empty also have the potential to increase the damage inflicted.
