More details about how 706 affects the duration/# of rounds of DoT spells (as explained by GM Zissu on Discord):
- So any DoT that 706 speeds up, it essentially doubles the amount of ticks remaining, keeping the "run time" the same. If 706 falls off, the remaining ticks is then halved because 706 is no longer affecting the DoT. So the 706 transfer will only take over the amount of ticks remaining expecting a 2s cycle.
- It gets a little messy because "doubling" ticks implimentation differs by spell, but that's the intended experience.
- It's actually "ticks" or "rounds" when it decides how many times its going to fire. Something like 716 the number of rounds depends on the warding success, it keeps track of that as a "number of times to fire" counter.
- And then the speed at which it will refire is another attribute. We update both when affected by 706.
