When cast at a target, Fire Spirit is a [[bolt spell]]. [[Spell Aiming]] is the most important skill in determining whether the spell successfully hits. If the ball of fire hits the target, the target will experience damage from the initial hit as well as elemental critical damage as a result of the explosion. The explosion can result in splash damage to other targets in the room (randomly up to 8 targets by default, modified by [[Spiritual Lore, Summoning]] and [[Multi Opponent Combat]]). The severity of the secondary splash critical is partly dependent on caster/target level difference.

When [[open cast|cast without a target]], this spell will send a bright fiery ball into the sky, which can be seen by anyone standing outside. Do this only when standing outside or it will rebound on you!
