Drayc scoops out a small amount of salve from his jar, his nose involuntarily wrinkling at its offensive odor.  Despite the powerful smell, he applies the cream to his temples with his 
fingertips using a gentle, circular motion.

Drayc removes a squat pale grey crystal bottle from in his spidersilk pouch.

Drayc turns his grey crystal bottle, opening its lid and shaking a faceted dark sapphire pill into his waiting hand.

Drayc places his dark sapphire pill in his mouth, and it dissolves into a puff of cerulean smoke.  A blue mist seeps from his lips as a cloud of mana coalesces around him, wrapping him 
in protective magic!

Eofora just arrived.

You feel fully energetic again.



Lord Crime just arrived.

The grim halfling marshal hurries in, followed closely by his posse!



With great ease, the grim halfling marshal grabs you and shackles your wrists.



"Ah-ha!  The boys at the Tartifacts said I might find something interesting here," says the grim halfling marshal.

The grim halfling marshal then drags you off.


Arriving at the Jailhouse, the grim halfling marshal cracks his knuckles, then gestures and utters a phrase of magic.  Absentmindedly he shoves you over to a small, cramped cell.  
Unlocking and opening it, he swiftly pushes you in.  "Enjoy your stay, varmint!  If I had my way around here, ye'd be cleaning out the mule stables til the end of time!" he exclaims.


With a final snort, the grim halfling marshal locks the cell door shut, leaving you to contemplate your fate.

The low ceiling of this cell was obviously designed for the shorter races of Elanthia.  The floor is covered with straw, and a distasteful scent lingers in the air.  The only exit is a 
small steel door with a barred window in the center.

Your jaw drops.

You gaze heavenward.


You sigh.


You look at yourself carefully in the ruby red mirror...



You see Grand Lady Opalina Jalcon the Sister of the North.

She appears to be a Paradis Halfling.

She is shorter than average and has a curvaceous figure.  She appears to be in the prime of life.  She has sparkling crystal blue eyes and freckled skin.  She has waist length, curly 
auburn hair worn in a chignon.  She has a delicate face, a straight nose and a generous mouth.  Tiny flecks of sea blue have formed within her pupils.  She has a fake silver-edged 
tooth barely visible in her mouth.  She has some hazy crescent glass earcaps encircled by hazy blue jade constellations attached to her ears.

She has a tiny flawless diamond stud in her right nostril, a petite faceted ruby arrow in the upper ridge of her right ear,  a set of silver rings with tiny dangling crystalline 
snowflakes in the upper ridge of her left ear, a teacup-cradled clockwork mouse tattoo on her leg, a ring of red roses tattoo on her waist, and a niveous-inked fall of tiny snowflakes 
on her ear.

She is in good shape.

Swirls of pale silver snowflakes fall slowly across her form, glistening faintly as she moves.

She is wearing a silver belled choker, a long sea blue brocatelle pelisse with soft dark brown mink trim, a velvety soft deep black rose tucked behind one ear, a wide brass spiral 
etched with rolling waves, a flecked pearl white lizard, a long front-split overgown of sheer black rose lace over a snow white silk and linen sundress draped from an iridescent onyx 
scalemail gorget with a light winter white lace underdress dotted with tiny eonake beadwork underneath, a lambskin-lined balenite armband forged into a series of breaking waves, some 
rose-embroidered black silk gloves, a filigreed eonake wedding band with a nightscape motif, an abyssal black vaalin ring inset with a scarlet veniom spinner, and a pair of sheer silk 
stockings under a pair of silvery balenite-traced mesh shoes raised on stained glass heels.

Flickering near Opalina is a regal emperor penguin, its luminous figure composed of misty ocean blue energy.  Wobbling back and forth with an ungainly waddle, it circles around her 
protectively.


You can't peer through that, it's closed!


You stand back up.


The barred steel door appears to be closed.

You place your arms akimbo and look about as if waiting for something.


An Icemule Deputy approaches the bars of the cell and waggles some keys.  After spinning them around his finger a few times, he pops them into the lock and swings the door open.  He 
reaches in and grabs you by the arm with an amazingly strong grip!  Yanking you out of the cell, he doesn't even give your muscles time to uncramp before he hauls you off to the Constable's office!

This office is strangely opulent in a stark contrast to the sparse outer rooms of the jailhouse.  Blue velvet drapes cover the barred windows, and a large polished glaes desk dominates the center of the room.  On the wall behind the desk hangs a small portrait.  You also see a wooden door.
Obvious exits: none


The sheriff looks you up and down, then turns to a nearby deputy and says, "Now why in Elanthia have you brought this poor sap before me when she hasn't done anything we can jail her for?  Get her out of here!"


Blushing furiously, the deputy steps back and lets you free.

You feel at full magical power again.
