Xynwen's 2024 Summary
Vistix Akrath, lord of Yvaelyst Manor in the Winterbriar neighborhood, met and fell in love with Yraelia, the daughter of Tasthera and sister to Samyrha. Tasthera owns a tea shop in Naidem. Unfortunately, the Vistix acted suspiciously, and then Yraelia disappeared. There was also a closed and locked room that when opened contained heads. Eventually, the Vistix was able to convince most people that he was on the right side and trying to rescue and find Yraelia. Unfortunately, he needed Samyrha's assistance in a very particular ritual that could not be interrupted.
After admonishing everyone to not interrupt the ritual, they began. Unfortunately, an adventurer, Opalina, attempted thrice to stop the ritual, eventually succeeding. A figure pulled himself from Akrath, looking similar but not identical. It was intimated that this was an ancestor, and he was quite happy to be freed, along with his headless brides. He beheaded Samyrha and had one of his bride's bring in Yraelia in a storm of coneflowers, whom he also beheaded. Next, he summoned briars to wrap about Akrath and drag him into the ground.
Finally, the man stated to Opalina that he owed her a debt of gratitude as he was now free to go about his research. He let loose an invasion of undead. At its conclusion, everyone was thrown from the house and the doors were locked.
The heads of the "evil vistix's" wives were excited to be free, and while they may still make their home in that locked room in the manor, they are not bound to it at this time.
