Channeling is an alternate method of casting various prepped spells, generally attack spells.
Once the spell has been prepared, using the verb CHANNEL instead of the verb cast, the caster can receive extra benefit (usually in terms of extra damage dealt to the target). Channeling is not a possible option using the incant verb.
Channeling requires at least one hand open, but extra benefit is garnered by having both open.
Channeling garners additional benefit when used from an agressive stance. The more aggressive the stance, the bigger the benefit.
Channeling incurs a 3 second hard rt which runs concurrent with the 3 second cast rt.
