Aelerine

Aelerine is a type of flower native to Ta'Nalfein.

A type of columbine, aelerine is endemic to the upper reaches of the mountainous Tae'glimaereil. Fortunately, despite its small habitat amongst the alder scrub lining small brooks on the island's mountains, aelerine has been successfully cultivated on mainland Ta'Nalfein. Its tiny, off-white blooms are coveted for their lightly floral and grass-like scent, and the delicate leaves, with their spiky, bitter flavor, make an excellent addition to a salad, especially when paired with goat's cheese.
