How to Make Your Bloodrune Holder

Total time: Less than 10 minutes

Total cost: 1m silver + 500 bloodscrip + flat etched stone + carved ur-barath totem (roughly 1.5m total)

The bloodrune holder is a neat item that occupies a nonfunctional belt slot (not a sack slot) and adds an “illusion” line to your appearance. For example:

You see Tatterclaws.  
He appears to be a Half-Sylvan.  
It is difficult to properly see his features as the chiropteran hood of his shroud is pulled down over his face.  
He gives off a wild demeanor. [This is the bloodrune “illusion” line!]  
He is in good shape.  
He is wearing a hooded traveler's cloak, an autumnal sylvan shirt, a variety of belt-worn pouches, and some soft doeskin boots.

Steps to Get Your Bloodrune Holder ("an archaic steel dodecahedron")

1. Get 1m coins from the bank (must be coins).
2. Travel to [Hypogeal Cavern, Ossuary] at room 28350.
3. Whisper door "The rage would consume him."
4. Search box (you will get a rank 2 head wound).
5. Now you have your dodecahedron!
6. Whisper door "out".

How to Make a Bloodrune

1. Go to Mar and Scar, room 8214515.
2. Buy a chisel for 250 bloodscrip.
3. Get a flat etched stone (other players, playershops).
4. Get a carved ur-barath totem (other players, playershops).
5. READ STONE x2.
6. CARVE MY STONE WITH MY CHISEL, now you have a bloodrune!
7. PUSH it into the dodecahedron.
8. Bloodrunes are permanent, you can remove/replace/trade anytime!

Steps to Customize the Metal of Your Dodecahedron

1. You can use any of the "lumps of ore" of metals.
2. Get 5 of the same ore (can be anything – even krodera, urglaes, etc.).
3. Go back to Mar and Scar, room 8214515, and buy a crucible (also 250 bloodscrip).
4. Go to the Bloodforge at room 26091.
5. Put your 5 ores in your crucible.
6. PUT CRUCIBLE ON BLOODFORGE.
7. Wait for it to melt and cool (takes a couple of minutes).
8. GET CRUCIBLE with your other hand empty.
9. TOUCH BLOODFORGE.
10. POUR CRUCIBLE ON MY DODEC.
