Heavy, black tapestries stitched with mournbloom patterns are drawn across shuttered windows, while thick carpets muffle any footsteps on the polished ebonwood floor. At the rear of the wagon, a magnificent portrait of a fair-haired elf with somber grey eyes hangs above a low table, the makeshift shrine crowded with flickering votive candles amidst ornamented pots of smoking incense. A metal garment rack and a wardrobe with garnet cloisonne inlay face each other from opposite sides of the entry.
