Origin
Orphaned at the age of eight when her father was lost at sea and then soon after, her mother followed, presumably from a broken heart. With little family on her mother's side, Nalira went to live with her fraternal grandparents, in the province of Laikyn.
Family of Nirnaeth
The family of Nirnaeth came from New Ta'Faendryl almost 2,000 years ago, they were merchants, until one of their number a rogue summoner, caused issues and was banished along with his whole line. The Principality of Evashir let him and his family in, where he swore off summoning and once again, took up trade.
Nalira's grandparents are respectable tradesmen in the province. They are known for dealing in gems and for being part of Lyx'Nijost: Order of the Stones. Nalira was brought up and trained in the trade as they expected her to follow in their footsteps. However, fate had other plans and before she could take up the mark of the Order of the Stones, she turned to the Sorrowers of Laethe.
Sorrowers of Laethe
Nalira dedicated herself to the sect after knowing her loss of love, not unlike her parents. She took up the sacred mantel of Laethe and has travelled that path ever since.
