The WEDDING verb has been mostly deprecated as of 2022 when Weddings were reintroduced with a new, automated system.

Each spouse must REDEEM the wedding license to gain access to the wedding halls and wedding planners. The license has information on it that will guide you through the selection process. You have one year from the time you purchase the license to hold the wedding.
