A diffuse band of light seeps in an inch above the ground, where the fallen leaf-cover is brushed by the edges of the tent's canvas walls. Three short wooden columns arc gently around a large, glass-domed case. A flap leads deeper into the tent, curled wood shavings littering its doorway.

Some carved wooden benches rim the edges of the tent, set back from a large centrally placed worktable. Piles of wood chippings and fragrant curls of castoff detritus form drifts around the furniture's legs and trail off through a canvas flap. In the corner are piled a bedroll, several copper pots, and a heap of boards and plankings.
