The IMITATE verb is a roleplaying verb that allows one to imitate any number of things. Messaging success is randomized.

SPEECH

IMITATE SPEECH allows one to imitate the speech of another player. It works in a similar way to [[Verb:SAY|SAY}} and allows for tones and speech verbs. It can also work while hidden. Gnomish races are more likely to succeed when imitating speech.

HELP
Usage:
  IMITATE SPEECH {target} {speech}

You can use IMITATE SPEECH to speak in imitation of another person.  While imitating speech, you may use any of the special modifiers available for normal speech.  For more information on speech, see the SAY command.
