A Splitter Weapon is a special weapon script that allows a single weapon to be split into two, essentially splitting it in half to make a copy of itself. This is done via the OPEN verb. The weapon must be one that could work in two weapon combat.

Unless the weapon has been merchant-unlocked, each half retains only half of the combined weapon's enchantment. Merchant-unlocked weapons retain their full enchantment on both halves.

Analyze

Combined weapon

Splittable Weapon

The vultite falchion can be used by those trained in two-weapon combat or one-handed.
You may take the following actions with it: CLOSE, INFUSE, OPEN, RUB*, TAP*, or WAVE*
Verbs with * can only be accessed if the vultite falchion has been merchant-unlocked, which it has not.

The final line changes to indicate that it “has” been merchant-unlocked when applicable.

Split half

Splittable Weapon

This is the split weapon. It cannot be altered, enchanted, or have services on it. Return it to its primary weapon and then have the work completed.
