TONE is a roleplaying verb that is used to view speech tones and set a speech tone, either temporarily or permanently.

Usage:
TONE LIST - List all available tones
TONE LIST NEW - List recently added tones
TONE LIST {letters} - List all tones beginning with {letters}
TONE STATUS - View your current tone settings
TONE {tone} - Select a tone for your next message
TONE SET {tone} - Set one of the vocal tones
TONE CLEAR - Clear your current tone
Usage
LIST
TONE LIST outputs a list of available tones to use when speaking. Ones listed that have an * by them are able to be set as a permanent tone. To view the full list, please see the list of tones.
LIST NEW
TONE LIST NEW works in the same way as TONE LIST but focuses on recent additions only.
LIST {letters}
TONE LIST {letters} works in the same was as TONE LIST but focuses on tones that begin with a specific letter.
STATUS
TONE STATUS displays current tone settings if a permament tone is set.

TONE {tone}
TONE {tone} temporarily sets the tone to be used when the character next speaks.

>tone help You will speak helpfully on your next message.
SET {tone}
TONE SET {tone} will set a permanent tone from those that are able to be set permanently.

CLEAR
TONE CLEAR clears temporary and permanently set speech tones.
