* [[User_talk:LALAMJ]]: Hello! It has been nice getting to know Abilene on her [[Abilene_(prime)|character page]]. While I was looking at the image on her page, "Abilene.jpeg", I noticed that it did not have information about the original source or that permission was granted to use it. Please see [[Help:Style#Copyrights]] for more information about the requirement to provide the source and artist name for all images uploaded to GSwiki. If you are the artist who created the artwork, you can simply note that instead. * [[User talk:KITHUS]]: Hi, there! Thank you very much for your many contributions to the wiki. While doing some patrols of recently (and not-so-recently) updated pages, I noticed that you uploaded several images for guides you authored that do not have artist or copyright information on the pages where they are displayed. Specifically, I am referring to "Issalya_portrait.jpg" on [[Comprehensive Wizard Guide]]; "Necromancer.jpg" on [[Comprehensive Sorcerer Guide]]; "Bard_Weapons.jpg" on [[Comprehensive Bard Guide]]; "Ranger_and_wolf.jpg" on [[Comprehensive Ranger Guide]]; plus "Empath.jpg", "Warpath.jpg", and "Dissector.jpg" on [[Elanthia 5e]]. In addition, I could not find anything about the various Arkati symbols on the [[Elanthia 5e]] page; they appear to be made and uploaded specifically for it. |
|||
:Hello again, DESP914. You recently uploaded several images to the wiki that were missing information required by [[Gswiki:Policy]]. The main one I am contacting you about is [[:File:Darrgo1.jpg]]. Thank you for including the name of the AI software used to generate it. However, this image is missing the following information: |
|||
:* Who created the image? |
|||
:* If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it? |

:In addition to the flagged image noted above, [[:File:1644.gif]], [[:File:1652.gif]], [[:File:Fire.gif]], [[:File:1666.gif]], and [[:File:1678.gif]] had most but not all information required. These additional five images were missing <nowiki>[[Category:AI artwork]]</nowiki>, however I have added that to these five on your behalf. These five images have not been flagged and you do not need to do anything further for them. Future instances of an image just missing <nowiki>[[Category:AI artwork]]</nowiki> will result in them being moderator flagged. |
|||
:If you need examples on how to do these steps for the flagged image, [[:File:Darrgo1.jpg]], [[Gswiki:Style guide/Images]] has copy/paste code examples for different image types. If you need instructions on how to do each step, [[Help:Images]] goes into detail on how to edit image files and how to display them with captions on articles. |

* [[User talk:FEREVER]]: Hi again, FEREVER. Thank you very much for including the copyright information on all of your recent images and their article captions! This helps a lot in terms of wiki moderation. As a reminder, any images created with AI software also need to be included in [[:Category:AI artwork]]. This is done by typing <nowiki>[[Category:AI artwork]]</nowiki> as part of the image's text description. I have added it on your behalf for the images you recently uploaded, so no action needs to be taken by you for them. If you would like to see how that is done, you can click on "Edit Source" on any of the image files to see it. Please be aware that any future AI-generated images will be flagged if they do not include this category. Thank you for understanding. I was able to see that you included the needed information in some, but not all, required locations, so I have adjusted the image to comply with Policy with the text you provided as an image caption. * [[User talk:BURGHALGNOME]]: Hi there, BURGHALGNOME. I enjoyed reading the recent article you helped write, [[Black Thorn Resistance/Free North News Issue 3|Free North News Issue 3]]. Thank you for including which AI software was used for the accompanying images with the article. However, I did notice that you did not include full attribution information for them, such as who created them (for four of the six images) or if permission was granted to upload them (for the ones that you did not create). The seven images are as follows: |

:Please see [[Help:Style#Copyrights]] for more information about the requirement to provide the source and artist name for all images uploaded to GSwiki. :::Hello, BURGHALGNOME. I noticed that you uploaded some more images recently that do not meet the current style guide for attribution information needed. It appears that none of the images are used in any articles, so the attribution information will need to be updated on the image file itself for each of them. That can be done by clicking on '''Edit''' at the top of each of the linked image files, then updating the text with the required attribution information, similarly to editing any article on the wiki. As a reminder, all images must clearly include three components: 1) the name of the artist who created the image, 2) the name of any AI imaging software used, if any, and 3) if permission was granted by the image's creator, if that person is not you. The list of images missing some or all required attribution components are as follows: |

:::In addition, there are still six further images that are missing this attribution information that were uploaded previously and that I have already contacted you about. That information is not included anywhere on the wiki, whether on the image file itself or on the article where those images are featured, [[Black Thorn Resistance/Free North News Issue 3]]. At minimum, per the current style guide, that information will need to be included on the article where they are displayed. Once again, those six additional images are: |

Uploaded Image Patrols
Ongoing record of images needing copyright/attribution information added.
- Hello, PEASMASH13. You recently uploaded an image to the wiki, File:Kraghammer Hall.webp, that is missing some information required by Gswiki:Policy. While the image is noted as being a map, due to the way in which it is portrayed with significant artistic embellishments, it is actually classified as an image, which has slightly different standards for attribution. Your image is missing the following information:
- Was permission granted by the artist to upload it?
- Please see Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights for more information about the image policy and its requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information needs to be all images uploaded to the Gswiki as well as on all articles using them. In addition, all images using AI software in their creation are required to be included in Category:AI artwork. All articles using a moderator-flagged image will also need to have their captions updated to include this required information.
- If you need examples on how to do this, Gswiki:Style guide/Images has copy/paste code examples for different image types. If you need instructions on how to do each step, Help:Images goes into detail on how to edit image files and how to display them with captions on articles.
- If that information is not added within 7 days, any moderator-flagged images will deleted from the wiki. Please do not remove the {{moddelete}} template from any flagged image file. Another moderator or I will remove that template after your updates have been reviewed to ensure that they meet Gswiki:Policy requirements. If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for images, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone Discord forum's wiki thread. Thank you for understanding. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 09:18, 3 December 2025 (CST)

- In addition to the flagged image noted above, File:1644.gif, File:1652.gif, File:Fire.gif, File:1666.gif, and File:1678.gif had most but not all information required. These additional five images were missing [[Category:AI artwork]], however I have added that to these five on your behalf. These five images have not been flagged and you do not need to do anything further for them. Future instances of an image just missing [[Category:AI artwork]] will result in them being moderator flagged.
- If you need examples on how to do these steps for the flagged image, File:Darrgo1.jpg, Gswiki:Style guide/Images has copy/paste code examples for different image types.
HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 09:39, 3 December 2025 (CST)

- User talk:FEREVER: Hi again, FEREVER. Thank you very much for including the copyright information on all of your recent images and their article captions! This helps a lot in terms of wiki moderation. As a reminder, any images created with AI software also need to be included in Category:AI artwork. This is done by typing [[Category:AI artwork]] as part of the image's text description. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 08:20, 17 December 2024 (CST)
- User talk:SED17: Hi there, SED17. You recently uploaded an image, File:Nalira.webp to the wiki that did not have all of the information where it needed to be as required by Gswiki:Policy. I was able to see that you included the needed information in some, but not all, required locations, so I have adjusted the image to comply with Policy with the text you provided as an image caption. As a reminder, copyright information must be clearly stated on the image file and as a caption for all articles featuring it. Just an article caption is not sufficient for these purposes. In addition, any AI-generated images must be included in Category:AI artwork. This is done by typing [[Category:AI artwork]] as part of the image's text description. I have already made adjustments to the image file on your behalf, so no action needs to be taken by you this time. If you would like to see how that is done, you can click on "Edit Source" on the image file to see it. Please be aware that any future images that do not include all required information on both the image file and all articles featuring them will be flagged. Thank you for understanding. - Hi again, SED17. You recently uploaded File:E97394c0-4ba3-4ef1-8426-e1777d44915c.webp, which did not have all of the information where it needed to be as required by Gswiki:Policy. Thank you for including it in Category:AI artwork and for including the needed information on the article featuring the image. As a reminder, that information also needs to be on the image file itself. Just an article caption is not sufficient for these purposes. I have already made adjustments to the image file on your behalf, so no action needs to be taken by you this time. If you would like to see how that is done, you can click on "Edit Source" on the image file to see it. Please be aware that any future images that do not include all required information on both the image file and all articles featuring them will be flagged for moderator review and possible deletion. - User talk:ELADAMRI: Hi again, ELADAMRI. Thank you very much for being consistent about including most of the information needed by Gswiki:Policy for image uploads on the images you add to the wiki. I want to remind you that all images created with AI-generating software must be included in Category:AI artwork. This is done by typing [[Category:AI artwork]] as part of the image's text description. This is something that you have been omitting still from your recent uploaded images. I have already made adjustments on your behalf to the image files that you recently uploaded, so no action needs to be taken by you this time. If you would like to see how that is done, you can click on "Edit Source" on any of the images file to see it. However, please be aware that any future images that do not include all required information, including the AI artwork category for AI-generated images, them will be flagged for moderator review and potential deletion. Thank you for understanding. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 08:09, 20 December 2024 (CST)
