* [[User talk:MAEVIE8]]: Hello, MAEVIE8. You recently uploaded several images to the wiki that are missing some information required by [[Gswiki:Policy]]. These nine images are [[:File:Screenshot 2026-05-18 at 1.24.24 PM.png]], [[:File:Screenshot 2026-05-18 at 1.24.44 PM.png]], [[:File:Screenshot 2026-05-18 at 1.25.21 PM.png]], [[:File:Snowy Maevie.png]], [[:File:Smiling maevie.png]], [[:File:Gameroom Maevie.png]], [[:File:Snow maevie 2.png]], [[:File:Snowy maevie 2.png]], and [[:File:Maevie H-.png]]. Thank you for noting that AI imaging software was used to generate them as well as the name of the software. However, your images are missing the following information:
* [[User talk:ZEUS]]:
:* Who wrote the prompt for this AI generated image?
:It that also the case for images (looked over your page to see if someone had the same issue as mine and saw about deleted pages being completely gone). Unfortunately I don't tend to log in unless I'm editing something so I only *just* noticed about the image needing attributions. In this case the image is mine made using Poser software but the computer I made the image on is currently in need of repairs so I can't simply upload it again. I would have messaged you directly but.... I'll keep logged in for a week in look of answer. Thanks.
:* Was permission granted by the prompter to upload it?
::Hello, ZEUS. I am responding to the message you left on my image patrol log. Unfortunately [[:File:Sayakah and Ghost.png]] has already been deleted from the wiki so it cannot be recovered. If you re-upload it, please make sure to note that you are the image creator per the [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights|Copyrights]] section of the GSwiki's Policy. If you need help with that process, I recommend posting to the Gemstone [https://discord.com/channels/226045346399256576/1061330227843833926%7CDiscord forum's wiki thread] on Discord. * [[User talk:CASTLEVD]]: Hello, CASTLEVD. I am reaching out to you about multiple images that you had previously uploaded to the wiki. GSwiki has a new policy for all images uploaded to it. Please see [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights]] for more information about that policy and the requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. I have flagged several of your images that are not in compliance. None of them are currently used on any articles and simply exist as files on the wiki. The images that have been flagged as needing updated information are as follows:
:If you are the prompter, you simply have to note that as permission is implied when the prompter is also the uploader. Please see [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights]] for more information about the image policy and its requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. * [[User talk:MERCEDES419]]: Hello, MERCEDES419. I flagged several images that you uploaded about a month ago for missing some required information on them. GSwiki has a new policy for all images uploaded to it. Please see [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights]] for more information about that policy. All of the images are on the same article, [[Kayse (prime)/5123 WL Town Council Campaign]], which does include some but not all of the information needed for AI-generated images so I was not able to copy that text onto the image file. In addition to stating which AI imaging software was used, you need to note who wrote the prompt that generated each image and, if that person is not you, if you were given permission by that person to upload it to the wiki. That information needs to be on each image file as well as on all articles that use it. Lastly, each image file needs to include <code><nowiki>[[Category:AI artwork]]</nowiki></code> to properly note it as being generated by AI imaging software. The images that have been flagged as needing updated information are as follows:
:* [[:File:Delphira.png]]
:* [[:File:Docks.png]]
:* [[:File:Seedling.png]]
:* [[:File:Silks.png]]
:* [[:File:Streamers.png]]

Uploaded Image Patrols

Ongoing record of images needing copyright/attribution information added.

  • Who wrote the prompt for this AI generated image?
  • Was permission granted by the prompter to upload it?
  • As AI imaging software was used to generate it, [[Category:AI artwork]] must be in the image description for inclusion in Category:AI artwork. Another Moderator has already added this step on your behalf.
If you are the prompter, you simply have to note that as permission is implied when the prompter is also the uploader. Please see Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights for more information about the image policy and its requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information needs to be on all images uploaded to the Gswiki as well as on all articles using them. In addition, all images using AI software in their creation are required to be included in Category:AI artwork. All articles using a moderator-flagged image will also need to have their captions updated to include this required information.
If you need examples on how to do this, Gswiki:Style guide/Images has copy/paste code examples for different image types. If you need instructions on how to do each step, Help:Images goes into detail on how to edit image files and how to display them with captions on articles.
If that information is not added within 7 days, any moderator-flagged images will deleted from the wiki. Please do not remove the {{moddelete}} template from any flagged image file. Another moderator or I will remove that template after your updates have been reviewed to ensure that they meet Gswiki:Policy requirements. If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for images, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone Discord forum's wiki thread. Thank you for understanding. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 09:10, 2 June 2026 (CDT)
