* [[User talk:TGO01]]: Hello, TGO01. You recently uploaded several images to the wiki that are missing information required by [[Gswiki:Policy]]. Those images are [[:File:Dreaven.jpg]], [[:File:Bochser 1.jpg]], and [[:File:Xess.jpg]]. Please see [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights]] for more information about the image policy and its requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information needs to be on the images as well as on all articles using them. In addition, all images using AI software in their creation are required to be included in [[:Category:AI artwork]]. To add that text to the image file, you will need to click on "Edit Source" on the image file itself and add all of the required information, plus <nowiki>[[Category:AI artwork]]</nowiki> to include it in the appropriate category for AI artwork.
* [[User talk:ZEUS]]:
:'''If that information is not added within 7 days, these images will be deleted from the wiki.''' Please do not remove the <nowiki>{{moddelete}}</nowiki> template from the images. :It that also the case for images (looked over your page to see if someone had the same issue as mine and saw about deleted pages being completely gone). Unfortunately I don't tend to log in unless I'm editing something so I only *just* noticed about the image needing attributions. In this case the image is mine made using Poser software but the computer I made the image on is currently in need of repairs so I can't simply upload it again. I would have messaged you directly but.... I'll keep logged in for a week in look of answer. Thanks.
::Hello, ZEUS. I am responding to the message you left on my image patrol log. Unfortunately [[:File:Sayakah and Ghost.png]] has already been deleted from the wiki so it cannot be recovered. If you re-upload it, please make sure to note that you are the image creator per the [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights|Copyrights]] section of the GSwiki's Policy. If you need help with that process, I recommend posting to the Gemstone [https://discord.com/channels/226045346399256576/1061330227843833926%7CDiscord forum's wiki thread] on Discord. ::Hello again, TGO01. Thank you for updating the information for [[:File:Xess.jpg]]. I have deleted [[:File:Bochser 1.jpg]] per your request. [[:File:Dreaven.jpg]] is still missing some information required by [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights]]. As your updated caption indicates that it was created by another person and that you have permission from the copyright holder to upload it, it is considered Commissioned Artwork. Commissioned Artwork requires that the name (or handle) of the artist be included when they retain the copyright of the image, and this will need to be added to both the image file and the article displaying it. '''I have updated the banner to state that you have 7 days from today's date, as opposed to the date of my last message to you, to add that information or it will be deleted from the wiki.''' * [[User talk:ELADAMRI]]:Hello, ELADAMRI. I am reaching out to you four multiple images that you uploaded to the wiki. GSwiki has a new policy for all images uploaded to it. Please see [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights]] for more information about that policy and the requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. I have flagged several of your images that are not in compliance. None of them are currently used on any articles and simply exist as files on the wiki. The images that have been flagged as needing updated information are as follows:
* [[User talk:321FLAPTIME]]: Hello, 321FLAPTIME. You recently uploaded an image to the wiki, [[:File:En-zul logoth-storm peaks-1703220375.png]], that appears to violage the [[Gswiki:Policy]] for Copyrights, specifically for Maps. Maps should only be uploaded by the original creator or, in certain circumstances, the editor who updated the map to account for new areas. There does not appear to be any statement on the map image to indicate that you have edited it or when. This is required for all map images that have been modified by someone other than the original map creator. I have flagged the map image for moderator review and deletion.

:'''If that information is not added within 7 days, these images will be deleted from the wiki.''' I understand that MOD-MOTTE had reached out to you before about some images needing attribution information added, and I thank you for updating that information for most of your images. These appear to be the only ones remaining that are missing that information among your recent uploads. * [[User talk:TUMARA]]: Hi there, TUMARA. I am reaching out to you about three images that you previously uploaded to the wiki. GSwiki now has a new policy for all images uploaded to it that is a little more detailed than the last time we communicated. Please see [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights]] for more information about that policy and the requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. You have been really helpful in the past about making sure that your images always meet policy, which is greatly appreciated. I am flagging a few images generated by other players using AI art software. While it's fine to upload images created by someone else, you will have to note specifically if permission was granted by them to upload them to the wiki. Can you please confirm that for these three images:
:* [[:File:Falkissingopal.png]] - The caption notes that Falvicar's player generated this image via AI art software. I did see that it was added by his player to his wiki article. Can you confirm that his player granted permission to upload it?
:* [[:File:Falkissingopaltoon.png]] - The caption notes that Falvicar's player generated this image via AI art software. I did see that it was added by his player to his wiki article. Can you confirm that his player granted permission to upload it?
:* [[:File:Redheaded Halfling.png]] - The caption notes that Aliashyrah's player generated this image. Can you confirm that her player granted permission to upload it?
:'''If that information is not added within 7 days, these images will be deleted from the wiki.''' If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for images, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone [[https://discord.com/channels/226045346399256576/1061330227843833926%7CDiscord forum's wiki thread]]. I did do a quick look back through all of your uploaded images, and everything else is in compliance with the current policy based on information that you had previously provided, so this should hopefully be the last time I reach out to you about older images like this. Thank you for your help and understanding. [[User:HOST-GSKEBECHET|HOST-GSKEBECHET]] ([[User talk:HOST-GSKEBECHET|talk]]) 09:09, 24 August 2023 (CDT)

Uploaded Image Patrols

Ongoing record of images needing copyright/attribution information added.

Hello again, TGO01. Thank you for updating the information for File:Xess.jpg. I have deleted File:Bochser 1.jpg per your request. File:Dreaven.jpg is still missing some information required by Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights. I have updated the banner to state that you have 7 days from today's date, as opposed to the date of my last message to you, to add that information or it will be deleted from the wiki. • User talk:321FLAPTIME: Hello, 321FLAPTIME. You recently uploaded an image to the wiki, File:En-zul logoth-storm peaks-1703220375.png, that appears to violage the Gswiki:Policy for Copyrights, specifically for Maps.
If this file is the original, unedited map image, it will need to be uploaded by the original map creator. If you have made edits to the map, then you will need to indicate this per the copyright section on maps and reupload it with that text included both on the image itself as well as in the image file comments. If an image file update is not added within 7 days, this image will be deleted from the wiki. Please do not remove the {{moddelete}} template from the image. Another moderator or I will remove that template after your updates have been reviewed to ensure that they meet Gswiki:Policy requirements. If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for maps, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone Discord forum's wiki thread.
