:It that also the case for images (looked over your page to see if someone had the same issue as mine and saw about deleted pages being completely gone). Unfortunately I don't tend to log in unless I'm editing something so I only *just* noticed about the image needing attributions. In this case the image is mine made using Poser software but the computer I made the image on is currently in need of repairs so I can't simply upload it again. I would have messaged you directly but.... I'll keep logged in for a week in look of answer. Thanks. |

::Hello, ZEUS. I am responding to the message you left on my image patrol log. Unfortunately [[:File:Sayakah and Ghost.png]] has already been deleted from the wiki so it cannot be recovered. If you re-upload it, please make sure to note that you are the image creator per the [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights|Copyrights]] section of the GSwiki's Policy. * [[User talk:BURGHALGNOME]]: Hello, BURGHALGNOME. While reviewing recent updates to the wiki, I ran across one of the images that you uploaded that has two different people credited for its creation in different places on the wiki. On the file itself for [[:File:FNN7Draelorcatdrink.png]], you added the caption/notes that this image was "Created by player of Draelor in Midjourney Uploaded by player of Dendum with permission AI ART", however on the article [[Black Thorn Resistance/Free North News Issue 7]], you added the caption/notes for this same image that it was "Created in Midjourney by player of Dendum uploaded by player of Dendum with permission". Can you please clarify if you or Draelor's player created the image? You will need to do this by either editing the image file's comments or by updating the article's comments for the image. I suspect that this was just a copy and paste error associated with the article given the large quantity of images you have displayed on it. I am not flagging the image at this time, however if no action is taken by you in about a week, I will flag it for further mod review. Thank you again for your ongoing help with image attribtion on the wiki. [[User:HOST-GSKEBECHET|HOST-GSKEBECHET]] ([[User talk:HOST-GSKEBECHET|talk]]) 08:10, 11 October 2023 (CDT) |

* [[User talk:CLTIDBALL]]: Hello, CLTIBALL. I am reaching out to you about an image that you had previously uploaded to the wiki, [[:File:Cylnthia 01.jpg]]. While reviewing recent updates that you made to your character page, [[Cylnthia (prime)]], I noticed that it features this image and that it is missing some information that is now required by [[Gswiki:Policy]]. GSwiki now has a new policy for all images uploaded to it. Please see [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights]] for more information about that policy and the requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. Thank you for already noting that it used aiinput.org AI imaging software to create it. For your image, you will need to add who created it and if permission was granted by the creator to upload it (if that person is not you). That information needs to be on the image as well as on all articles using it. In addition, all images using AI software in their creation are required to be included in [[:Category:AI artwork]], which I have already added to yours. * [[User talk:FEREVER]]: Hi again, FEREVER. Thank you very much for including the copyright information on all of your recent images and their article captions! This helps a lot in terms of wiki moderation. As a reminder, any images created with AI software also need to be included in [[:Category:AI artwork]]. This is done by typing <nowiki>[[Category:AI artwork]]</nowiki> as part of the image's text description. I have added it on your behalf for the images you recently uploaded, so no action needs to be taken by you for them. If you would like to see how that is done, you can click on "Edit Source" on any of the image files to see it. Please be aware that any future AI-generated images will be flagged if they do not include this category. Thank you for understanding. Uploaded Image Patrols
Ongoing record of images needing copyright/attribution information added.
- Hello, PEASMASH13. You recently uploaded an image to the wiki, File:Kraghammer Hall.webp, that is missing some information required by Gswiki:Policy. While the image is noted as being a map, due to the way in which it is portrayed with significant artistic embellishments, it is actually classified as an image, which has slightly different standards for attribution. Your image is missing the following information:
- Was permission granted by the artist to upload it?
- Please see Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights for more information about the image policy and its requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information needs to be all images uploaded to the Gswiki as well as on all articles using them. In addition, all images using AI software in their creation are required to be included in Category:AI artwork. All articles using a moderator-flagged image will also need to have their captions updated to include this required information.
- If you need examples on how to do this, Gswiki:Style guide/Images has copy/paste code examples for different image types. If you need instructions on how to do each step, Help:Images goes into detail on how to edit image files and how to display them with captions on articles.
- If that information is not added within 7 days, any moderator-flagged images will deleted from the wiki. Please do not remove the {{moddelete}} template from any flagged image file. Another moderator or I will remove that template after your updates have been reviewed to ensure that they meet Gswiki:Policy requirements. If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for images, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone Discord forum's wiki thread. Thank you for understanding. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 09:18, 3 December 2025 (CST)

- In addition to the flagged image noted above, File:1644.gif, File:1652.gif, File:Fire.gif, File:1666.gif, and File:1678.gif had most but not all information required. I have already made adjustments to the image file on your behalf, so no action needs to be taken by you this time. If you would like to see how that is done, you can click on "Edit Source" on the image file to see it. Please be aware that any future images that do not include all required information on both the image file and all articles featuring them will be flagged for moderator review and possible deletion. - User talk:CLARGH: Hi there, CLARGH. You recently uploaded an image, File:Felarynth.png to the wiki that did not have all of the information where it needed to be as required by Gswiki:Policy. I was able to see that you included the needed information in some, but not all, required locations, so I have adjusted the image and the article featuring it to comply with Policy. As a reminder, copyright information must be clearly stated on the image file and as a caption for all articles featuring it. An article edit comment is not sufficient for these purposes. In addition, any AI-generated images must be included in Category:AI artwork. This is done by typing [[Category:AI artwork]] as part of the image's text description. I have already made adjustments to the image file and article featuring it on your behalf, so no action needs to be taken by you this time. If you would like to see how that is done, you can click on "Edit Source" on the image file to see it. Please be aware that any future images that do not include all required information on both the image file and all articles featuring them will be flagged. Thank you for understanding. - User talk:ELADAMRI: Hi again, ELADAMRI. Thank you very much for being consistent about including most of the information needed by Gswiki:Policy for image uploads on the images you add to the wiki. I want to remind you that all images created with AI-generating software must be included in Category:AI artwork. This is done by typing [[Category:AI artwork]] as part of the image's text description. This is something that you have been omitting still from your recent uploaded images. I have already made adjustments on your behalf to the image files that you recently uploaded, so no action needs to be taken by you this time. If you would like to see how that is done, you can click on "Edit Source" on any of the images file to see it. However, please be aware that any future images that do not include all required information, including the AI artwork category for AI-generated images, them will be flagged for moderator review and potential deletion. Thank you for understanding. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 08:09, 20 December 2024 (CST)
