*[[User talk:BARDLIEST]]: Hello again, BARDLIEST. You recently uploaded an image to the wiki, [[:File:Cada Arborsong.png]], that is missing some information required by [[Gswiki:Policy]]. This image is missing the following information: |

:It that also the case for images (looked over your page to see if someone had the same issue as mine and saw about deleted pages being completely gone). Unfortunately I don't tend to log in unless I'm editing something so I only *just* noticed about the image needing attributions. In this case the image is mine made using Poser software but the computer I made the image on is currently in need of repairs so I can't simply upload it again. I would have messaged you directly but.... I'll keep logged in for a week in look of answer. Thanks. |

:* If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it? |

::Hello, ZEUS. I am responding to the message you left on my image patrol log. Unfortunately [[:File:Sayakah and Ghost.png]] has already been deleted from the wiki so it cannot be recovered. If you re-upload it, please make sure to note that you are the image creator per the [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights|Copyrights]] section of the GSwiki's Policy. If you need help with that process, I recommend posting to the Gemstone [https://discord.com/channels/226045346399256576/1061330227843833926%7CDiscord forum's wiki thread] on Discord. ⚫ | :* If AI imaging software was used to create it, <nowiki>[[Category:AI artwork]]</nowiki> must be in the image description for inclusion in Category:AI artwork. Please see [[Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights]] for more information about the image policy and its requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information needs to be on the images as well as on all articles using them. In addition, all images using AI software in their creation are required to be included in [[:Category:AI artwork]]. To add that text to the image file, you will need to click on "Edit Source" on the image file itself and add all of the required information. All articles using this image will also need to have their captions updated to include this required information. |

:'''If that information is not added within 7 days, this image will be deleted from the wiki.''' Please do not remove the <nowiki>{{moddelete}}</nowiki> template from the image. Another moderator or I will remove that template after your updates have been reviewed to ensure that they meet [[Gswiki:Policy]] requirements. |

:I did see that you uploaded a second very similar image, [[:File:CadaArborSong.png]], which was also missing all required information on the image file itself. However, as you provided caption information for the image on the article featuring it, [[Cada (prime)]], I have already updated this second image to comply with Gswiki:Policy. As copyright information must be clearly stated on the image file ''and'' as a caption for all articles featuring it, just an article caption is not sufficient for these purposes. In addition, any AI-generated images must be included in [[:Category:AI artwork]]. This is done by typing <nowiki>[[Category:AI artwork]]</nowiki> as part of the image's text description. I have already made adjustments to the image file on your behalf, so no action needs to be taken by you this time for this second image. If you would like to see how that is done, you can click on "Edit Source" on [[:File:CadaArborSong.png]] to view it and use that as a basis for how to edit your first image. Please be aware that any future images that do not include all required information on both the image file and all articles featuring them will be flagged for moderator review. |

:If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for images, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone [https://discord.com/channels/226045346399256576/1061330227843833926 Discord forum's wiki thread]. * [[User talk:FEREVER]]: Hi again, FEREVER. Thank you very much for including the copyright information on all of your recent images and their article captions! This helps a lot in terms of wiki moderation. As a reminder, any images created with AI software also need to be included in [[:Category:AI artwork]]. This is done by typing <nowiki>[[Category:AI artwork]]</nowiki> as part of the image's text description. Uploaded Image Patrols
Ongoing record of images needing copyright/attribution information added.
- User talk:BARDLIEST: Hello again, BARDLIEST. You recently uploaded an image to the wiki, File:Cada Arborsong.png, that is missing some information required by Gswiki:Policy. This image is missing the following information:
- Who created the image?
- If that person is not you, was permission granted by the artist to upload it?
- If AI imaging software was used to create it, what is the name of that software?
- If AI imaging software was used to create it, [[Category:AI artwork]] must be in the image description for inclusion in Category:AI artwork. Please see Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights for more information about the image policy and its requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. This information needs to be on the images as well as on all articles using them. In addition, all images using AI software in their creation are required to be included in Category:AI artwork. To add that text to the image file, you will need to click on "Edit Source" on the image file itself and add all of the required information. All articles using this image will also need to have their captions updated to include this required information.
- If that information is not added within 7 days, this image will be deleted from the wiki. Please do not remove the {{moddelete}} template from the image. Another moderator or I will remove that template after your updates have been reviewed to ensure that they meet Gswiki:Policy requirements.
- I did see that you uploaded a second very similar image, File:CadaArborSong.png, which was also missing all required information on the image file itself. However, as you provided caption information for the image on the article featuring it, Cada (prime), I have already updated this second image to comply with Gswiki:Policy. As copyright information must be clearly stated on the image file and as a caption for all articles featuring it, just an article caption is not sufficient for these purposes. In addition, any AI-generated images must be included in Category:AI artwork. This is done by typing [[Category:AI artwork]] as part of the image's text description. I have already made adjustments to the image file on your behalf, so no action needs to be taken by you this time for this second image. If you would like to see how that is done, you can click on "Edit Source" on File:CadaArborSong.png to view it and use that as a basis for how to edit your first image. Please be aware that any future images that do not include all required information on both the image file and all articles featuring them will be flagged for moderator review.
- If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for images, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone Discord forum's wiki thread. Thank you. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 12:03, 2 February 2025 (CST)
