Aureliano (prime)

Aureliano Tiberius Vaalor is a Vaalor elven warrior, soldier, and High Legionnaire of the Crimson Legion Reserves, where he commands the First Reserve Troupe of the Fortress. Fiercely devoted to Ta'Vaalor and the Crown, Aureliano has dedicated himself to the Vaalorian martial tradition and to the discipline, readiness, and unity of the soldiers under his command. He is an accomplished battlefield commander and tactician who believes the strength of the Legion lies not merely in the prowess of its individual warriors, but in their ability to maintain discipline, act with common purpose, and fight as one.

Aureliano is himself a formidable combatant, combining considerable martial prowess with a studied understanding of tactics and the battlefield. In 5124, Aureliano claimed victory in the Festival of the Fallen's Open Tournament, becoming the first Vaalorian in more than a decade to win the unrestricted contest and returning its championship to the Fortress.Despite his individual accomplishments, Aureliano views personal prowess as subordinate to service. He holds that a soldier's purpose is to strengthen those beside him, accomplish the commander's intent, and stand ready when the Fortress and Sovereign require him. His leadership of the First Reserve Troupe reflects that philosophy: rigorous preparation, decisive action, respect for the chain of command, and the conviction that the Legion is strongest when its soldiers move with the discipline and unity of a single force.

Aureliano believes House Vaalor possesses both the strength and the duty to defend the East and help restore the Elven Nations to greatness. He favors an assertive posture toward external threats, particularly powers such as the Empyreans, believing that peace is best preserved through readiness, strength, and an unmistakable willingness to act. To Aureliano, Vaalor's martial power exists not for conquest, but to ensure that no enemy can dictate the future of the Elven Nations.

He appears to be an Elf.
He is taller than average and has a muscular, able-bodied physique.  He appears to be in the prime of life.  He has piercing stormy grey eyes and milky white skin.  He has long, braided chestnut hair.  He has an angular face, a straight nose and muscular thighs.
He is wearing a crimson aqilorn cape secured with a gold braid tied with four knots of rank, a veniom threaded harness slung over his shoulder, a black silk arming coat with gold filigree embroidery on the sleeves, a pair of polished crimson and gold bracers, a crimson signet ring etched with a golden wyvern, a seven-gemmed silver ring, a pair of slim black silk trousers belted with veniom wire, and some tall ebon leather boots buckled with vaalorn.

Burnished ripples stretch along the fuller in an elegant contrast to the matte finished edges on the high steel blade.  An arcing guard of eahnor fans away from the hilt, the deep crimson hue darkening as it ascends towards the pommel under an ebon-wrapped grip.  Now completely stygian, the metal of the pommel relies on accents of gold to pull out the details within a scaled wyvern-head.  Scintillating spheres of crimson arathiel inset as eyes give the creature a menacing, life-like quality. Bound to the warsword's hilt is a grey-swirled coraesine relic.
