Shielded by four interlocking shelves of table coral, the shop sprawls across the ocean floor in an open arc. Pale sand stretches outward, bordered by a ring of short, interwoven kelp that acts as a soft barrier. Rock-legs support one half of a massive tridacna gigas, its pearly interior gleaming where shafts of sunlight filter down through the coral canopy. Wares rest on a smooth coral ridge and an inset driftwood ledge, each piece nestled securely in polished shell basins or woven sea grass trays.
