Tiering these up generally will unlock new functions. So for example, Iridescent Locus is a "costume" vissi with 4 tiers. T1 allows you to alter your orb's appearance. T2 unlocks an alteration to your appearance. T3 unlocks a custom title. And T4 unlocks custom movement. Another common type of chimera vissi are "roleplay" vissi, which often unlock various actions your character can perform, etc. Using Virose Vapors as an example, T1 unlocks an ambient that can fire off randomly if you have ambients active on your orb / vissi (you can enable or disable your ambients at will). T2 unlocks customizable segments that allow you to influence what the ambient does. T3 unlocks a roleplay action. T4 unlocks customizable segments that allow you to influence what the T3 roleplay action does. And finally, T5 unlocks a custom scent. [[Virose_Vapors_vissi|Virose Vapors Vissi]] |

"Generally" was used a couple times in the above explanation only because vissi are VERY flexible, so these are design guidelines we have in place so that there's a consistency to the system. But that doesn't mean ALL Primals or Chimeras in the future are bound to the existing examples. |

The vissi system - a new progression system that can grant your character new combat powers, roleplay abilities, and cosmetics. Select a mix that sets you apart!
Primal Vissi
Tiering this up generally will not change its base function, but rather enhance it. So a T1 - T5 would behave the same; the tiering will just make higher tiers more effective. Here is an example of a Primal, where you can see the function remains the same and is useful for all tiers, but as it tiers up it becomes increasingly effective: Soul Harvester Vissi
Chimera Vissi
Tiering these up generally will unlock new functions. So for example, Iridescent Locus is a "costume" vissi with 4 tiers. T1 allows you to alter your orb's appearance. T2 unlocks an alteration to your appearance. T3 unlocks a custom title. And T4 unlocks custom movement. Here is a wiki page that shows the specifics: Iridescent Locus Vissi
Virose Vapors Vissi
"Generally" was used a couple times in the above explanation only because vissi are VERY flexible, so these are design guidelines we have in place so that there's a consistency to the system. But that doesn't mean ALL Primals or Chimeras in the future are bound to the existing examples.
