'''Darts''' are a lightly scripted prop that can be used to play a [[Guide to Playing Darts|game of darts]], provided that a '''dart board''' is present. Dart sets consist of three individual darts which are effectively bundled together used one at a time or all at once.

When playing darts, you can {{boldmono|THROW}} them either aimed or unaimed. Any throw that does not have a specific target will be treated as random and will not take your skill into account. Others will see different messaging depending on whether your throw is random or aimed. Darts can only be thrown at a dart board.

To aim a throw at a dart board, use {{boldmono|THROW MY DART AT BOARD {MODIFIER} {TARGET}}}. The target must be either 'bullseye' or a number from 1 to 20. Specifying 'bullseye' without a modifier of inner or outer will assume inner. Specifying a number without a modifier will assume single. The modifier, if given, must be one of triple, double, single, inner, or outer. Inner and outer refer to the bullseye. Single, double, and triple refer to the numbers.

Darts may be thrown, unaimed (and unskilled) at a dart board one at a time or all at once. This is done via {{boldmono|THROW MY DART AT BOARD}}. If no item is in the other hand, then the darts are thrown one at a time. If another item is held in addition to the darts, then all three darts will be thrown at once.

Characters can learn a dart skill, which is tied to the item script itself. Skill levels can be checked via the dart's {{boldmono|ANALYZE}} information.

==Additional Information==
Using {{boldmono|RAISE}} will ''temporarily mark'' the darts with your character's first initial. This initial will remain in place until someone else (with a different first intial) uses {{boldmono|RAISE}} with them. This does '''not''' prevent other characters from picking up or using your darts. This is simply to help tell apart multiple sets of darts when several people are using the same dart board.

Darts are a lightly scripted prop that can be used to play a game of darts, provided that a dart board is present. Dart sets consist of three individual darts which are effectively bundled together used one at a time or all at once.

When playing darts, you can THROW them either aimed or unaimed. Any throw that does not have a specific target will be treated as random and will not take your skill into account. Others will see different messaging depending on whether your throw is random or aimed. Darts can only be thrown at a dart board.

To aim a throw at a dart board, use THROW MY DART AT BOARD {MODIFIER} {TARGET}.

This is done via THROW MY DART AT BOARD. If no item is in the other hand, then the darts are thrown one at a time. If another item is held in addition to the darts, then all three darts will be thrown at once.

Characters can learn a dart skill, which is tied to the item script itself. Skill levels can be checked via the dart's ANALYZE information.

Analyze

You analyze your black diamond darts and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions.

The creator has also provided the following information:
These are darts for playing the pub game, not weapon darts. They can be altered, but MUST have "some darts" as part of the base description. They cannot have a long description, but a show is fine.

Your current skill in darts is 250 out of 250 maximum possible ranks.

You can tell that the darts is as light as it can get.

Additional Information

Using RAISE will temporarily mark the darts with your character's first initial. This initial will remain in place until someone else (with a different first intial) uses RAISE with them. This does not prevent other characters from picking up or using your darts. This is simply to help tell apart multiple sets of darts when several people are using the same dart board.
