Rich sapphire wool hangs from the white oak frame of this spacious pavilion. A chandelier set with frosted globes hangs from the peaked ceiling, each orb etched with a blooming rose. Soft ivory velvet drapes frame an archway that leads deeper into the shop, while matching wool carpeting underfoot muffles all sound. A dark iron rack filled with elegant gowns is displayed in the center of the space.

The Alabaster Rose, Salon

Dark sapphire motes add color to the thick ivory wool carpet that cushions the floor. To one side of the entrance is a small white oak table that holds a variety of refreshments. A woven basket of sticks rests next to an ornate copper brazier placed centrally in the room. A large sofa padded with dark blue cushions and a pair of chairs are placed in a circular pattern about the room. Standing next to an etched vaalin-framed mirror is a dressing room door.

On the small white oak table you see: an ivory-handled golden linden platter, a frosted glass carafe, a white porcelain teapot painted with blue-green peacock feathers, a sterling silver coffee decanter etched with pomanders and some citrus and guava icy sorbet.

On the an ivory-handled golden linden platter you see: a flaky endive-stuffed pastry and a handful of plump purple grapes.

The Alabaster Rose, Private

Resting in the center of the thick ivory carpet is an etched vaalin-framed mirror. Several benches cushioned in deep blue silk are placed about the dressing chamber. The far wall boasts a large crystal mosaic of an exquisitely detailed, pure white rose in bloom. You also see a carved white oak door.
