Maces are in the middle of the damaging weapons in the [[Blunt Weapons]] skill. Since they only use crush damage, they're more well-suited to aimed attacks than other blunt weapons that have multiple damage types.

A mace is a one-handed blunt weapon constructed of a pointed, spiked or bladed ball set atop a haft. The weight and hardness of a mace make it a more effective against an armored opponent than most swords. Maces are designed to crush an opponent.
