To be honest, the title of this topic still bothers me. If it were up to me, I'd title it "Pole arm", marking it as a skill and a weapon class. I've decided, however, that I'll let someone else do that or revert it to its proper name as it was before I renamed it. I'm not touching the name anymore. |

: The proper skill name is 'Polearm Weapons'. As far as I know, polearm is one word and always has been. We don't really need a separate article for the weapon class, it's enough to list them in this article and just give each weapon its own article. Anshou 11:20, 13 January 2006 (CST) |

:: Checking various dictionaries, I don't see the word 'polearm' as a single word anywhere. In fact, I don't even see it listed with a space between pole and arm. Though, I'm very sure the term comes from the fact that it's a shafted (pole) weapon (arm), therefore Pole Arm. I even looked on Dictionary.com and in my personal unabridged dictionary for the word to no avail. http://www.play.net/gs4/info/skills.asp#polearms lists the skill as "Pole Arm" without the word "weapons" as well, which was the reason for my original suggestion. Like I said, though, I'm not touching it, anymore. BELATHUS 11:57, 13 January 2006 (CST) |

::: Interesting how the precedent seems to be naming of things to correspond with the game's references and not Simu's documentation (Re: :Talk:Pain (711)). I suggest you enter SKILLS FULL in the game and see what it says there. ULTHRIPE 14:59, 13 January 2006 (CST) |

Tables
I just used a simple HTML table, and if someone doesn't like the way this table is done, please correct it. I'll follow that example, should this table be fixed. By the way, the article Damage factor has a table, but... I'm not messing with that table format, and it looks like it could use improvement to me. Besides, I believe the actual tables containing the damage factors should belong on the individual skills pages, like this one. Just my two cents.

Not touching
To be honest, the title of this topic still bothers me. If it were up to me, I'd title it "Pole arm", marking it as a skill and a weapon class. I've decided, however, that I'll let someone else do that or revert it to its proper name as it was before I renamed it. I'm not touching the name anymore. BELATHUS 07:22, 13 January 2006 (CST)
