Incidentally, Hendor is not divided, as it should be. Under the racial documentation, they are divided. I'll have to complain about that. I'd still recommend keeping the two seperate, since logically, after more than 460 some years difference, not to mention different geographical locales, there should be a difference. :Good work. I'm impressed, and you win. I vote put the Hendors back together though. ;) justin talk 00:17, 8 September 2006 (EDT) |

I'll add my two cents. 360 years, in history, is nothing. The differences can be recorded in a subsection of the same article for Hendor. Sometimes, splitting articles is just not a good idea. Longer pages are better. -Andy talk 00:19, 8 September 2006 (EDT) |

::I fixed my typo, the difference is 460 years. Which, for elves, is nothing, but for humans, thats a pretty big span. For example, the culture and barony of Jantalar is nearly a hundred years younger than the two Hendors. It was formed in 4735, as opposed to 4638 for the two hendors. Furthermore, South and North Hendor exist as seperate provinces of the Empire (and on one documentation page found here, as two seperate cultures). If you make Hendor as one serve all article for North and South Hendor, you're stuck in a scenario of creating Hendor (culture) and then having the two articles for North and South (and they do deserve seperate pages, once all the information that can be applied to them from game history/docs. In the end, we've got a whole darn wiki to work with here. People aren't going to freak out over having two choices for a human culture, versus one. ;) Rail 00:32, 8 September 2006 (EDT) |

The area is called Estora, at least in GemStone. I got that spelling from the character-maker-thing. The Estorians are indeed form Estora. justin talk 23:47, 7 September 2006 (EDT)
- Then you need to report that as a bug. Here's the link to the Traveller's Guide to the Turamzzyrian Empire page which spells it Estoria. Here's another link, this time to State of the Empire, which lists provinces by influence, and also offers information like region of the empire, historic names, cities, and ruling families. I've checked Culture in game, and it appears the typo is only in the character generator. Here's the in game list:
>title list culture You have access to the following titles from the CULTURE group:
* Selanthia * Aldora * Chastonia * Honneland * Estoria
And
Your current TITLE display is:
Brownbibasj. He appears to be a Human from Estoria.
