Damp ivory paper curls at torn edges, yet the contents of this poster remain clearly framed. Written in large script, the word "MISSING" trails across the top while along the bottom "Laerlynn" is haphazardly scrawled. Introduction

Interrupted in their daily playtime, the children at the docks stopped to observe one of the locals add another poster to the side of the pier, already generously covered in similar notices: a vacant-eyed portrait with the boldly written word, "MISSING," across the top, and smaller words, "Last seen...," added to the bottom. Turning to address the wide-eyed children, the woman said, "You must stay in pairs... It's the only way to be safe."

As she turned away, the children made faces at her and giggled, and as she turned the corner, they began to argue with each other. "No, I want to be the bad guy!" said one; "Nope! You got to play him the last time! It's my turn!" yelled another. They resumed their play with a chorus of laughter.

From around the corner, the woman stifled a tear and looked for another place to hang her missing person poster.

Will you help solve the mysteries going on at Caligos?

Posters

Fluttering upon the ground, posters were everywhere on the island.

Maudie

A stark white poster painted with deft strokes shows the outline of an elderly human woman with her grey hair tied up in a messy knot. Multiple cats appear to be milling around her feet. Beneath the picture in neat lettering reads "MISSING." There appears to be something written on it. read poster In the common language it reads: Maudie Missing since Eoantos 15th Last seen outside the Wrong Turn Tavern

Unnamed

A narrow-faced blond Vaalorian man seems to stare at you with piercing blue eyes and an indifferent expression on his lips. The right side of the poster's paint has faded with time, as if only one side had been exposed to sunlight. At the bottom of the poster, in large print, is the word "MISSING."

Synopsis

The festival opened and Trelynne implored people to help her find the missing on the island. She handed out posters, and well as put posters out on the grounds themselves. People were looking all over and trying to help. Trelynne was so distraught because her sister Willy was missing and she needed to find her. She was also concerned because Kuornos was supposed to meet her, but he hadn't shown up and she was very worried about him. She grew even more upset when Laemont appeared but he was a ghost! Horrified and stricken, she ran home to cry.

Meanwhile, some adventurers found a hidden passage and were able to observe a woman torture a man that she had kidnapped, which turned out to be the missing Kuornos. Unfortunately, being new to the torture game, she was overzealous and ended up killing Kuornos. The woman returned to a chamber to find that she had witnesses, who turned out to be allies, and started giving her advice on torture. She said her name was Khlast.

Kuornos appeared as a ghost to greet adventurers. He had a vague recollection of "floating" out but he was very shocked to find that he was dead. He shared that he remembered that his kidnapper was a woman, her skin was sallow, but the more he thought about it the more he seemed to relive his torture and he couldn't handle it. He told them that he was trapped underground, in the muck and mud. Rolfard made his way through the tunnels and found his remains in the Charnal Pit. He dug the grave, with the help of others, laid Kuornos' corpse in the coffin, put the coffin in the grave, pushed the dirt, and laid the tombstone. Kuornos just wanted release, but his precious shrak's tooth was missing! Where was it. Rolfard pulled it out and laid it on the tombstone.... and boom! Kuornos went to final rest.

The next night, The Reaper took another victim... a dwarf named Clunk. He was confused at first but quickly caught on to what was happening as parts began to be lopped off by the Reaper, in between demands to convert. He resisted, however, and the Reaper killed him and disposed of his corpse after some time. Afterward, she met with some of the evil observers, who in turn chided, encouraged, and offered advice for next time. She started out angry and defensive, but finally agreed to consider what they'd said, and invited them to come and watch tomorrow night.
