One of the official games of the Kindred Games, Hammer Throw can be practiced before the official games begin.
During the official game, there are three winners.
[Jirkirl's Hilltop, Hammer Throw]
Cleared of snow and marked off with huge stones, each Hammer Throw lane is shaped like a rather long thigh bone. Wide circular clearings anchor each end of a broad strip of bare ground, and iron basket torches provide ample lighting. The closer of the two rings is the starting point, or throwing circle, while the more distant circle represents the target. A huge "X" painted in the center of the target is surrounded by dozens of divots, though only a few actually mar the white paint of the marking itself. You also see a narrow path (open), a polished walnut plaque, a scoreboard and a weapons rack with some stuff on it.
Obvious exits: north, northeast, east, southeast, south, southwest, west, northwest |
