The GEM verb is a special case verb allowing players to access their Gemstones.

USAGE: GEM {option} {args}

Options:

  ACTIVATE {property}  - Attempt to use an activated Gemstone property
  SLOTS                - Shows equipped Gemstones, their properties, and your slot status
  INFO {property}      - Shows information on a given gem property
  COLLECT {Gemstone}   - Adds a Gemstone you are holding to your collection
  EXPEL {Gemstone #}   - Places a Gemstone from your collection into your hand
  EQUIP {Gemstone #}   - Equips a Gemstone from your collection
  UNEQUIP {Gemstone #} - Unequips a Gemstone from your collection
  LIST {type}          - Lists collected Gemstones, where type is LEGENDARY, RARE, COMMON, REGIONAL, or ALL
  FIND {type} {phrase} - Finds and lists Gemstones alphabetically, with mnemonics
  STATUS               - Show your eligibilty to find Gemstones
  FIXATE               - Improve chances for finding Gemstones at the expense of other kinds of loot
  ONSLAUGHT            - Locate the current Onslaught, or when the next one will be

FIXATE

GEM FIXATE has the following effects:

• GEM FIXATE lasts until end of day or you find a Gemstone - whichever comes first.
• You are ineligible for most silver-based treasure.
• You are more likely to find Gemstones.
• When you find a Gemstone, it will appear inside a geode. A second Gemstone will also appear inside the geode. You are able to choose between the two. You may only have one.

Use GEM STATUS to check whether GEM FIXATE is currently active.

<pre{{log2>> >gem fixate Fixating enhances your Gemstone search in two ways: When you find a Gemstone, it will be encased in a crystalline geode containing two Gemstones to choose from. Additionally, your odds of finding a Gemstone will increase. In exchange, you will forfeit opportunities for treasure in ascension hunting grounds. This setting will be disabled automatically at the end of the day, or when you find a Gemstone, whichever comes first. You will not be able to disable this setting manually. If you are certain that you would like to do so, please enter GEM FIXATE again within 30 seconds.

STATUS

GEM STATUS will show you:

• Whether GEM FIXATE is active.
• Whether you are currently eligible to find Gemstones.
• If you are ineligible, whether ineligibility is due to the weekly limit or the monthly limit.
