This article is about individual gems found in the treasure system. For gems in general, see Gems.

Gemstones with the noun "Gem" come in many varieties. Most commonly, they are aquamarine gems or chrysoberyl gems, though the noun is a generic term for unidentifiable gems as well, such as the clear blue gems found within dead ice elementals or ice golems when killed. The gems are as follows:

an ametrine gem

Description:   The distinct beauty of the ametrine gem appears to be the fruit of the union between an amethyst and citrine. Deep purple and sunny gold blend beautifully together with alluring tones of peach in this translucent gemstone.[1]

an aquamarine gem

Description:   This single, water-clear crystal has formed in the shape of a flattened prism, with a few veil-like inclusions. It is an extraordinarily pale blue with just the faintest hint of green.

a bright chrysoberyl gem

Description:   The apple-green color of a bright chrysoberyl gem is enhanced by an undertone of honey gold. Several translucent crystals have grown together to create this complex specimen.

a clear blue gem

Description:   As clear as ice, this gem is tinged a pale, watery blue. It is about the size of a walnut, and unevenly round. Cool to the touch, it is unaffected by the warmth of your hand.

This gem is found when searching dead ice elementals and ice golems in the Pinefar region.

a fiery red gem

Description:   This large, rounded gem is a brilliant orange-red with flashes of yellow within. The fire-polished surfaces ripple with iridescence, and the crystal is almost uncomfortably warm to the touch.

This gem is found when searching dead fire elementals and lava golems in the volcano on Teras Isle.

a golden beryl gem

Description:   A golden beryl gem forms a bevelled hexagonal prism of transparant sunny yellow with an undertone of green. No inclusions mar this exquisite specimen.

a green chrysoprase gem

Description:   Many chips mar the surface of this opaque lump of rock, but, where sections are smooth, light gleams softly off the polished surfaces. The hue varies between a pale, misty green and a dark forest hue.
