I'm having my first experience with spell burst in Nelemar with my capped paladin so I figured I'd post my observations on here. I will test additions of worn mana in 1.1 mana increments and track my ability to avoid spell burst including those additions as I continue to train skills that impact spell burst. It bears mentioning that included in the worn mana total listed below are enhancives that give +16 SMC Bonus. This presents something of a moving target since SMC is one of the skills I will be increasing as I go. I will note when the impact of the enhancives stabilizes.

Using the Gib's wiki calculation I currently have wearable mana of 66.44. Note that despite being made by Gib, ;burst_calc uses a different formula. My current burst-free set is 406, 414, 506, 508, 509, 601 and 202. Referring to Gib's modifiers I count each elemental spell as costing an additional 0.5 mana, each spell of level nine or over as costing an additional 0.5 mana and each spell identified by Gib as causing unique problems as costing an additional 0.5 mana. Using those modifiers I calculate values of 6.5, 15, 6.5, 8.5, 10.5, 1 and 2 for each spell in my burst-free set totaling 50 mana.

Tracking Spell Burst Worn Mana Beyond 1/2 of Level

I'm having my first experience with spell burst in Nelemar with my capped paladin so I figured I'd post my observations on here. I will test additions of worn mana in 1.1 mana increments and track my ability to avoid spell burst including those additions as I continue to train skills that impact spell burst. It bears mentioning that I wear some skill bonus enhancives that impact spell burst. As I track increases in worn mana I will note when the impact of those enhancives stabilizes.

Replacing 601 with 401 (+0.5 mana) does not result in spell burst. Replacing 202 and 601 with 503 (+0.5 mana) does not result in spell burst.

Replacing 406 with 507 (+1 mana) results in spell burst. Replacing 506 with 507 (+1 mana) results in spell burst.

Adding 401 (+1.5 mana) results in spell burst. Replacing 202 with 503 (+1.5 mana) results in spell burst.
