They can receive crits, they just don't die from them. My warrior usually whacks at a leg til they're on the ground then starts MSTRIKing them. My sorcerer would blow off a leg with 708 before targeting them with focused 710. My empath would use Fire Spirit (111) and gold wands on them. My ranger usually doesn't bother with them, but a combo of 610 and 616 works well when she does.
