Dwarven-crafted boots are boots made by and for dwarves! Other races are, of course, free to wear them in an attempt to emulate the glory of a dwarf, but they may not be the perfect fit. Tier 1AnalyzeYou analyze your dwarven-crafted boots and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions. The creator has also provided the following information: You sense that the boots can be altered, bearing in mind the following: (1) the noun cannot change; (2) they must remain heavy and sturdy; and (3) they are, by nature, of dwarven craftsmanship -- while it does not need to be clear in the description, nothing can contradict that basic fact! You can try to PUSH, STOMP, TAP, or WAVE the boots. The boots may not be lightened further (despite the next sentence). You get no sense of whether or not the boots may be further lightened.
