Much like sundials, Stardials allow an adventurer to tell time, only at night. They're wonderful tools for the astronomy enthusiast.

Analyze

You analyze your mithril stardial and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item has restrictions on changing the noun."

Usage

You spin the center wheel of your mithril stardial, making sure it is set to Eorgaen. XXX spins the center wheel of her mithril stardial, setting it to a specific month.

You raise your mithril stardial to your eye and sight the brightest star to the north through the hole in its center. As you align the small metal arm to the nearby constellation, you discover that it is nearing midnight. XXX raises her mithril stardial to her eye, sighting it towards the brightest star to the north, and fiddling slightly with the stardial's small metal arm.
