WAVE Type Roleplaying, System, Special case Wedding Yes Race Aelotoi System Magic Special Case Demon

WAVE is a roleplaying verb that has special functionality for aelotois, as well as special wedding messaging.

WAVE also allows for magic item activation. An item imbedded with the wave verb activator is the only one that allows a character to target another creature or character with the imbedded spell. Imbedding offensive spells like Minor Acid (904) is useless unless this activator is used. There is no bonus/penalty to either the activation skill attempt or the spell's duration.

There is additionally special messaging for waving at certain demons, both for the summoning sorcerer and others.

Please Note: The option to WAVE WINGS will only appear in the help menu for aelotoi characters.

Usage:
    WAVE                            - Waves
    WAVE {self}                     - Fans yourself
    WAVE {target}                   - Waves at a target
    WAVE WINGS {target}             - Waves your wings at an optional target.
    WAVE {object} AT {target}       - Waves an object at a target
    WAVE LEFT AT {target}           - Waves what's in your left hand
    WAVE RIGHT AT {target}          - Waves what's in your right hand
    WAVE SET [OPTION]               - Shows or sets the WAVE verb options available.

People targets:
CATHEDRAL WEDDING
  FIRST PERSON     - You wave to (target), sighing wistfully as your eyes
                     caress him/her.
  OTHERS           - Xeraphina waves to (target), her eyes following his/her
                     every move.
WAVEDANCER WEDDING - You wave at (target) and blow him/her a little kiss.
CHAPEL WEDDING     - You bring your hand up shoulder high and wiggle your
                     fingers at (target) in a flirtatious wave.
ETERNAL WEDDING    - Abruptly, you extend your arm and point at (target)
                     with your index finger.  A wolfish smile plays on your
                     lips as you twist your wrist with a flourish and curl
                     your fingers in a beckoning gesture.
STANDARD           - You wave to (target).

Self target:
  You fan yourself.

Object targets:
  HELD OBJECT             - You wave your (object) around.
  HELD OBJECT TO TARGET   - You wave your (object) at (target).
  HELD OBJECT TO SELF     - You wave your (object) around vigorously in
                            a bid for attention.
  OTHER OBJECTS           - You wave to (object).

Creature targets:
  You wave to (creature).

Aelotoi Wing Options:
WAVE WINGS            - You gently fan your (color) wings.
WAVE WINGS (SELF)     - You fan your (color) wings, stirring up a small breeze about yourself.  Refreshing!
WAVE WINGS (PERSON)   - You fan your (color) wings at Xeraphina, stirring up the air about her.
WAVE WINGS (OBJECT)   - You fan your (color) wings and sweep them forcefully in the direction of (target),
                        but the sudden breeze does nothing to dislodge it. Try harder next time?
WAVE WINGS (CREATURE) - You spread your (color) wings wide and fan them at CREATURE in an attempt to appear
                        larger and more intimidating.

NOTE:  ONLY first person messaging is listed unless it differs substantially from other versions.  Wedding messaging will only work with your spouse, all other targets default to standard messaging.  Messaging without an option shown applies to all options.  Special scripts and areas may override listed messaging.
