The rub verb is mostly a roleplay verb that allows a character to rub another character or rub an object.

You rub Skyshock's shoulders affectionately.

You fuss over Skyshock, a look of concern on your face as you gently rub his/her back.

You rub Skyshock.

You scrub your hand over your shoulder length shadow black hair in frustration.

You rub (object).

Skyshock rubs his hands together, smiling slightly as he glances at a kobold.
