Horn-Type Instrument Messaging |
Provided by Icewhite |
As bards, we can now control the specific instrument message that we want to play. You may still just play (instrument) to get random messaging if you like. You cannot play something that you have not yet learned (so you can’t get message 10 if you’re only skilled enough to play message 7). |
To get a specific message string PLAY [instrument] [style] [number] |
This newfound skill is also available to members of other professions who have advanced their skill with an instrument to its maximum. Non-bards may achieve the 13th rank of skill, which is the last rank as an Apprentice. This will give them access to 7 of the 10 normal instrument messages. |
The following are the currently released (horn-type) instruments: cornett, crumhorn, lysard, and shawm. |
NOTE: This list shows all the current messaging as of Jun 2006. There are some typos and bad grammar, though some instruments have less than others. It has been stated that female bards have other typos that are gender mismatches I cannot see. If anyone has them and would like me to add them to this list please send them to me. You can reach me on the bulletin boards in the bard folder or at my email, winterheart@earthlink.net. |
