With the provision of this module, its certainly much easier to argue that 902 is indeed an "offensive enhancing" spell. I am not arguing that it does not aid the user with combat, simply that it actually enhances the item and not the combat characteristics of the character themselves. This is especially true when it comes time to consider 304, since it does not offer any boost in AS, CS, or maneuver attack capabilities. Alternatively, it does grant flares (much like 411) which would also be considered "item enhancement" even though theese particular enhancements are combat-related. Finally, I cast the spotlight upon 925, which can add AS to weapons similar to 902 and 411. However, it also enhances armor and shields, which clearly leads to defensive bonuses. In conclusion, all spells previously listed would fit better into an "item enhancement" module as part of the utility spell template, IMHO. who is Ulthripe reads this 14:27, 1 December 2006 (EST)

The difference from 925 and all the other spells listed is that it can be used defensively, where all the other spells are purely offensive. The only reason armor and such can be blessed is due to maneuver attacks that might depend on contact with the armor worn by a character. Thus, I stand to argue that 902, 411, and 304 are purely offensive in nature and, thus, offensive spells. I would argue that 925 is both offensive and defensive in nature, however, due to the fact that wizards seem to use the spell primarily for profit, it is, thus, utility. Admittedly, all spells listed are rarely used by pures to enhance their own weapons... I would also argue that 902 is rarely used at all. -Andy talk 19:30, 1 December 2006 (EST)
