The Elements are said to make up all things in the universe, and it is this power that spellcasters tap, mold, and wield when they perform elemental magic.
The four prime elements are Air, Earth, Fire, and Water.
The elements can manifest as sentient creatures in the form of Elementals. According to legends, these elementals were the first form of life in the world, and fashioned it into its present form before departing for some greater purpose.
