Tayeros was a Grand Magister of the Hall of Mages, known to possess powerful mental magic. He was sent to investigate the assassination of Earl Kestrel by a number of adventuerers out of Wehnimer's Landing who were allied with [[Elithain Cross]]. Tayeros was a cruel man, using torture and pain to try to find what he needed. In the end, he mysterious died, with no apparent physical harm done. Lord [[Brieson]] would later conclude his own investigation into the death of Tayeros, publically shaming the man for his history and practice of cruelty and harsh methods, and claiming his mind was destroyed by an intrusion led by Nysina and other adventurers.
