A heavy quartz orb is a commonly found magical item that is imbedded with the Mystic Focus spell, is activated using the RUB verb with no Magic Item Use skill requirement, and generally contains one to two charges. A quartz orb weighs 7 pounds and is mage rechargeable. Charged orbs may be purchased in various playershops.
