Coming Soon to a Rumor Woods Near you!
Hey, friends! Do you feel an overabundance of runestaffs from your sewer runs? How about those "pointless" quarterstaffs? Do you get sick of seeing everything just be faewood? Have you dreamed of the chance to tinker just a bit with some pretty, but maybe not so magical woods? Well, have I got news for you!
Introducing Woodn't Yew! A new store with a fun and intriguing product that children of all ages will enjoy: the WoodChopper Box. You must be asking yourself... Xeraphina, why would I want a WoodChopper Box, but instead I ask you... Why Woodn't Yew?! With the WoodChopper Box, you can take those flimsy staffs and make them into something new. You can take some branches of wood and make them into something better!
But what can you make, you may ask... Well, the WoodChopper Box will allow you to make forging blocks right off the shelf for all your funky forging needs.
But wait, there's more! On the second unlock, you can whittle that wood down to a simple toothpick. Clean your teeth in style! If you want, you can unlock it further to make weavable beads and even foraged sticks!
But wait, THERE'S MORE! While you don't get an additional thing you can make once you unlock it to tier 3, you CAN get unlock certs to make your own special wooden cobbling plates, or how about some fletching shafts... or hairpicks. HAIRPICKS! What else would we think of next?!
(Disclaimer: Woodn't Yew is not responsible for fingers placed into the WoodChopper Box. Woodn't Yew is not a division of the -A-Nator group and any implied affiliation is purely coincidental.)

Here at Woodn't Yew, we aim to please, and we hope that these updates are pleasing to you!
- Sick of carting around all those wands? The WoodChopper box will now accept spells (Minor Shock (901) and Major Shock (910), along with wands for the magic-impaired. Additionally, when charging the box with wands, the box will now transfer the charges of the wand directly into it. No need to insert or remove the wand all the time! Additionally, if for whatever reason you wish to clear the charges (by why would you?!), you can just PULL the box (you DO get a warning that the box will be cleared of charges by doing so).
- Speaking of charges! Your WoodChopper Box can now hold up to 40 charges! Mind you, each item creation will still eat 10 charges, but a fully charged box will let you make 4 items before needing to be recharged!
- You WoodChopper box will now refuse gems that do not meet the threshhold for use (less than 500 silvers value). Additionally, when inserting a gem, you will now be notified which tier the gem would work best for. Additionally, you no longer need to PINCH your box to clear a gem out once used... however if for whatever reason you decide the gem isn't good enough for what you want to make, you PINCH it to clear it out (but again... WHY?!)
- That's it for convenience updates, but what else can make you consider purchasing on of these fine specimens of craftsmanship?
- Weavable Beads - The WoodChopper Box will now create a collection of 25 weavable beads instead of one single measly weavable bead!
- Fletching Shafts - The WoodChopper Box will now create a bundle of 5 fletching shafts instead of one single measly fletching shaft!
- Tier 3 Updates:
- You can now make cobbling uppers if you have cobbling materials unlocked (currently limited to chopines).
- At Tier 3, Your WoodChopper Box will gain the ability to create lockmaster clasps, as well as accept those silly bow, crossbows, and shields!
- If you unlocked the ability to to make foraged sticks at Tier 2, your WoodChopper Box will gain the ability to make foraged bark automatically when unlocked to Tier 3!
- A NEW UNLOCK OPTION: If your WoodChopper Box is at Tier 3, you will be able to unlock the ability to make cobbling heels!

Just when you thought things couldn't get better... Woodn't Yew returns with some excellent news! (Yes, we know it's after Rumor Woods, and we're sorry, but some things take time and it's better late than never.)
The WoodChopper Box Tier 3 has seen some new and wonderful functionality added!
At Tier 3:
- POKE will now allow you to customize the finish (aka article) of your toothpicks, weavables, LM clasps, cobbling materials, and HairPicks!
- You can now PROD weavables to do beads/spacers, or ornaments for more fun shapes!
- SPIN has been added to allow you to customize the shape of your weavable beads/ornaments, LM clasps, cobbling settings, and hairpicks!
- PONDER has been added so you can see available finishes/nouns for the item you're considering making.
But wait, there's more! You will now be able to add up to 3 finishes and 2 nouns to make your WoodChopper Box do what you want it to do!
The ANALYZE has been updated to reflect this information, as well! We at Woodn't Yew are humbly proud of our latest innovations and hope you enjoy them, as well.
Please note: Due to the added functionality of Tier 3, the Tier 3 unlock may be priced higher at future Rumor Woods runs.
Special thanks to GMs Isten and Retser for the QC, and GM Vanah for the additional help with some feature creeeeeeeping.
